We've been coming to Saint Cast for years and we've never eaten in this mine-free restaurant.
Home cooking with fish bought on return from the boat. Local products including pastis which is Breton!
Mood like home.

There's deception! Beware! to avoid

The announcement says: "Open all year round, the Hotel de l'Esperance, completely renovated etc etc..."
Well if the hotel has been completely renovated it was probably a very long time ago! Just the exterior appearance shows, the photos of the site are very very flattering as those of the rooms. In reality the hotel as the restaurant room where one eats breakfast are "in their juice" and just clean. The hotel is noisy you can hear everything from room to room. The tiny bathroom with its leaky sink faucet is not better, the indigent breakfast buffet (ex: frozen pastries while there is a bakery right in front) etc. To be positive let's say that for 70€ a night it is not theft but the announcement is borderline false, the kindness of the boss does not change it. Non-existent Service and unclean environment

Send emails for information but no response. On arrival there was no one, the hotel restaurant was closed. On the phone they answered: 2 minutes and I'll be there. After a few minutes they called us back trying to explain how to get in. Then they send us a text with a code to open the door, but forget to tell us where to find the room key. At the end with another text we are told that the room is open and the key inside. Nice surprise: dirty bathroom with hair on the floor, no shower curtains (just the broken edge) and not even soap....rusty accessories. No wi-fi.Can be enough.... the holder seen only at the time of payment.

Go ahead....you won't believe it...

So there , already at the Welcoming you have humor at will , you will be surprised but if you are in the same spirit , it's happiness . superb evening , a nice room , a nice restaurant also and , a little Corsican rosé .............very nice too . we were 2 to end the evening with the "prisoner " who allowed us to spend a very pleasant night .. long and beautiful life to this character "vassiliu bis "

Not at the Asking Award level.

Our experience may not be 100% representative of the operation of the Inn because a priori the staff was on leave also the operation seemed degraded: just a panel on the door to welcome us but we were answered the 2nd call.
Our room was located on the 1st floor, it is a little dated but rather well maintained, the main concern is the soundproofing: the walls are thin and the wooden floors... in short you live to the rhythm, and sounds, of your neighbors.
There is a small TV in the room but very poor quality and perched almost on the ceiling = you see nothing and hear nothing... except to make your neighbors enjoy your TV program.
Bathroom and toilet in the same room, also dated but clean.
Breakfast at 11€... OK it is not very expensive but clearly there is no quality, no choice... or quantity (the products must be industrial frozen). Too bad with a bakery right across the street from the Inn.
In conclusion: it is a little expensive for the services offered, but it remains clean.
