Highly recommended!

Arrived here by chance but what a must! Superb room, friendly staff and a more than excellent restaurant. Definitely worth to stay here (restaurant also book in advance) !
Limited parking, so best also book.

A nice place in a little nice place

Great impression from the outside, super nice reception, nice rooms, comfortable beds, pleasant bedding.
To charge 20 euros extra for sauna use I find inappropriate. Excellent breakfast and dinner luxurious with super pleasant service.
Only the charm of the town of St Brieuc we have sought in vain.

Luxury feel fir a warm welcome

On that cold and dark winter evebing, we were gracefully helped by phone by the reception lady in order to reach the hotel located within the pedestrian corner of the city. A beautiful Maison de Maître serves as the Edgar hôtel. Check-in was swift and pleasant, and we had access to an elevator for our humougous suitcases. We entered a beautifully-decorated and warm bedroom, and were nicely advised by our receptionist on which restaurant would be open for dinner (winter Sunday night). Had a resting sleep and a tasty breakfast. Only good things to say, basically.
I want to emphasize here that we had a wheel chair accessible bedroom on the 1st floor (the hotel has 3), which I found interesting. The bathroom was all planned for wheel chair access. In case anyone here needs this type of facility, you can book Edgar hotel!

Perfect location and place to stay

Within walking distance of the Gare and the ol' ville. Easy and quick check in and depart. Secure area to leave bikes. Buffet breakfast options excellent. Wifi works well. Rooms good but could use a fan when weather hot and humid. Excellent option you pay extra for is access to a steam and sauna area and massages can be booked on site as well. Elevator available too.
