Excellent breakfast

Warm welcome. Small but functional room. Comfortable bedding. Quiet hotel apart from the noise of the elevator. Only downside: the bathroom very narrow and dirty. No towel on the last night. The positive: breakfast: excellent value for money , table set and cleared and quality products .

Well-located hotel, facing the train station, bedding is fine. Friendly staff.

Very good for a 2-3 night stay, which was my case. The hotel is very well located facing the train station. Bedding is fine.
However, the hallway light stays on all night, so I was awakened because the beam passes under the door. Additionally, the smoke detector kept flashing red. Small bathroom in room 108.
Why is the rate different on Saturday night, 71 euros, and Sunday, 55 euros?

Pros: proximity to the station. Against...

We stayed at the hotel during a visit to Rennes. The double room had no air conditioning (even in Brittany in August it is quite hot!) and had a bed that, for a man of normal build 1.85 meters tall and a companion, fortunately small, did not turn out to be very comfortable. The room also had no minibar or telephone to contact, possibly, the reception. Convenient for travel, being a few meters from the station. We also didn't appreciate the cleanliness mentioned in many reviews: intent on making a tea with the kettle provided, we opened the lid of the appliance to find some citrusy coffee that had been there for who knows how long.

A very good address

Ideally located near the train station as well as a few minutes from the concert hall "Le Liberté". Parking relatively easy and free at the weekend, a little luck can be favorable to you.
A great welcome by a charming person who cares about the well-being of his guests. Room overlooking the train station square whose windows, very well soundproofed, do not let through any sound coming from outside. The bedding is clean and correct, the room functional. The bathroom, a little small, but very clean. Hearty breakfast with handicrafts for the majority. A very good address for future stays in Rennes!
Just a little flat; the VMC is a bit noisy. Provide earplugs for those who, like me, are sensitive to heady noise.
