Typically French
As for the hospitality of the host, the lady was very welcoming. If you can speak French it's worth making the effort, as the French find this polite. I had a long conversation in French with the owner and I'm sure as a consequence, she kindly offered us homemade wild blackberry tart and coffee in the morning, although we hadn't ordered breakfast. This was a lovely touch.
The hotel is well located for visiting local châteaux, so I would recommend this hotel if you want an authentic French experience and are not after modern/boutique style. Good value for money too.

To flee
For the room we discuss the price no TV which works a savo. Already used by the occupants before, the sheets were torn when opening the bed, so worn, the cleaning must have been done around twenty years ago.
No restoration possible.
Basically we would have to fire the owner and really redo everything...
Very simple, I left without paying the bill, the management simply canceled the reservation, I found a hotel in Loches for the same price, I found it much better.
A real shame to keep an establishment still open, a real scam

Bien placé, calme et avec un joli parc.
De plus la patronne de l'hôtel est tres sympathique et je la remercie pour mon super petit déjeuner spécial cycliste.
Je conseille cet hotel avec plaisir.

Bon accueil.l
Tout date...mobilier abîmé, penderie (ceintres !) moquette tachée, salle de bains avec des moisissures et produit douche (date de péremption 2020).
Quant au petit déjeuner,',12€ par personne, tout en étant varié et avec un café réchauffé ne peut justifier un tel prix.
