The Most Stylish Hotel in Burgundy – Outstanding Service and Restaurant
We had a wonderful stay at COMO Le Montrachet and can recommend this hotel without hesitation.
Shortly before check-in, there was a slight issue regarding the room that had originally been confirmed for us. However, the hotel handled the situation extremely professionally and found a solution that left us completely satisfied. In fact, the way the team dealt with it only reinforced the very positive impression we had of the service throughout our stay.
The property itself is beautiful – stylish, elegant and recently renovated with great attention to detail, while still retaining the charm and character of Burgundy. The entire team was exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional.
The pool area is lovely and a perfect place to relax after exploring the surrounding vineyards.
A particular highlight was the restaurant. The quality of the food, service and overall experience was truly outstanding and exceeded our expectations.
Before choosing COMO Le Montrachet, I looked quite extensively at the comparable hotels in the surrounding area. Having now stayed here, for me COMO Le Montrachet is by far the most beautiful and stylish choice in the region.

Don’t waste your time here
This hotel was a big disappointment for us. Especially since we’ve stayed at a couple other Como hotels so we were drawn to it by our previous experiences with Como. We have stayed at Como Parrott Cay and also Como Ubud (Bali). There was only one staff member here who “got it”. The rest of them very very young (or at least appeared that way) and had no sense of customer service. The room was not even clean upon arrival. Hairs all over the bathroom and the toilet had smudged feces in it. So my first order of business when we arrived was to clean our toilet. That’s a first for me in any hotel! The room was also very expensive for what it was. It was comfortable but compared to other rooms we’ve had in Beaune & surrounding villages it was small. By the kind grace of the only woman at the front desk who had a customer service background, she was able to get us into dinner at the hotel. The hotel restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend. At first we were told it wasn’t possible by a younger gentleman. Prior to our arrival I had so much difficulty reaching the concierge Charlie. He was extremely delayed in returning emails on organizing a ebike tour which is something they advertised on their website. I had to call from the US to get his attention. That should have been our sign to cancel the reservation and try somewhere else but the Como experiences we had in the past stopped us. The location of the hotel is great but there are others around that I’m certain will give you a better experience.

Bueautiful manor in qute village. Rooms and lobby area are quite outwearn and dark. Nice pool area. Limited breakfast. Expensive e-bike lettting. Not worth of the high price.

The location and the hotel was excellent. My inly wish would be that it had its own gym. But running in the area was also quite spectacular.
The staff could be much more attentive - both in the reception and in the bar at night.

Impeccable food with service not quite at that standard.
This is a review of the restaurant only. The outdoor space is lovely and thoughtfully arranged. The food was absolutely impeccable, worthy of Michelin * consideration. The chef/kitchen staff deserves a wait staff worthy of their meticulous, beautiful and delicious work. While the wait staff was incredibly attentive upon arrival and during the first half of the meal, they simply disappeared after that. We were left with dirty dishes on our table for 20-30 minutes. The food preparation was so spot-on that that minor glitch did not detract from on overall wonderful meal. We will return and hope that the leadership in the dining room rises to the level of work in the kitchen. The kitchen's attention to detail matched the Michelin *** meal we had a week later.
