Quaint little boutique hotel. Great location in Paris for walking to many attractions. Quick access to Luxembourg gardens. Notre Dame cathedral, Pantheon. We stayed for four nights in late May. Our room was booked months in advance, but we had some issues getting a suitable room because we had booked through Expedia. (For those who dislike elevators, or are claustrophobic, please note that they are very tiny, but modern, and the stairs are not a great option because of the steep, winding, narrow stairwell). The breakfast was also disappointing, difficult to get a coffee, and they ran out of food very fast, and the dry cereal was stale. It’s ok for a night or two.

Convenient location, but that's about it.
Our first real trip to Paris, we decided on the Latin Quarter for its easy "accessibility" to all points of interest. We picked this hotel, as it looked very nice, and at $325 a night we expected it to be. Pros: good location, lovely breakfast included, friendly staff, quiet. Cons: For $325 a night, I didn't expect filthy rugs in the rooms, bathrooms that need refurbishing, extremely small rooms, front desk staff that knew how to say, "I'm sorry, I don't live here" when asked for suggestions about places to eat, transportation options, etc. Thank God for the internet! Also, there are two elevators that go to the 5th floor. Initially, they gave us a room on the 6th floor, so we were going to have to get off at 5 and lug our suitcases up another flight of stairs. I am 73, my husband is 70. This was not going to happen, so we had to wait another 30 minutes for a room to be cleaned. By now, it was 2:30pm. Understaffed, I think so.

Regarding your room, as is often the case in historic Parisian buildings, each of our rooms is unique in its layout and configuration. Prior to your arrival, we had sent our pre-check-in form to better understand any specific requirements. The only request we received was for a room on a high floor, which we were pleased to accommodate.
We completely understand your preference to avoid the staircase to the sixth floor. As soon as you informed us of this upon arrival, our team did everything possible to offer you an alternative room on a lower floor as quickly as possible. Your original room was actually ready from 10:00 a.m. on the day of your arrival, and the short wait was simply due to the time required to prepare another room after the previous guests had checked out. This was not related to staffing levels, but rather to room availability at that moment.
We are also sorry that you felt our recommendations regarding Paris were not as helpful as expected. Our reception team is always happy to assist guests with restaurant suggestions, transportation advice, and local recommendations, and we also confirmed the restaurant reservations that had been requested. We regret if this was not reflected in your experience.
Finally, we appreciate your comments regarding the room condition. Your observations have been shared with our management team as we continually invest in maintaining and improving our facilities.

Great location nice hotel and staff
Lovely hotel. Very good location. Charming staff. Peaceful. Very nice breakfast venue external shady courtyard pkus internal available for bad weather. It was a heatwave but very close to Luxembourg gardens to chill out plus good ac.

The location is great! Ther hotel is a walking distance away from Notre Damme and beautiful Luxemburg Garden. The area felt very safe and accessible by public transportation.
The personal was very friendly and helpful.
I did not like couple things though. First of all, there was no a proper divider between the shower and the bathroom, so every time we were taking a shower, we needed to be super careful not to flood the bathroom. And the second thing was that the dining area was too small, with not enough table to accommodate all guests. So, people had to make several attempts to come down for breakfast.
