A charming hotel in a great location—and I was there during a heat wave and pleased to say the air conditioning works well! The building is historic, so floors slope and steps are uneven—but this added to the charm. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast items delicious, and the salon near reception had cool decor and was a great spot to wait when I had finished sightseeing.

There was a bug on my bed that looked a lot like bed bug, and i reported this to the hotel staff, other than verbally telling me that they don’t have bed bugs the hotel didn’t do anything else to ensure my room was clean and safe to stay in

Beautiful, character-filled property. We had the larger room type, which was very spacious by Paris standards (even my 6’5” husband was happy, though as the hotel site emphasises, not by all standards… bathroom is compact but well thought out). And it has AC, which is essential in a heat wave…!
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and you just cannot beat the location. We would return in a heartbeat (and book ahead for the Gainsbourg house tour across the street).

The location was perfect for us, quiet street but still close to everything we wanted to see. The staff was great and left me wanting for nothing
