Great location and lovely staff – with a few issues
Overall, we had a good stay at this centrally located hotel, right by a major main road. If you prefer peace and quiet, ask for a room away from the road, as it can be noisy.
We stayed in room 602, with a balcony and fantastic views of Sacré-Cœur, the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame. The view was definitely a highlight.
On our last evening, I spotted a mouse in our room on the 6th floor. I reported it to reception. They tried to find someone to help, but as it was Sunday evening, this wasn’t possible. They offered us another room, but I declined and caught the mouse myself before releasing it outside. The staff were very kind and did their best to help, and the hotel refunded us one night, which we appreciated.
The staff were generally extremely friendly and helpful, always happy to have a chat.
Breakfast was included in our rate, but at the normal price of €18 per person, I don’t think it’s worth it. There are plenty of bakeries and supermarkets nearby.
One disappointment was the check-in. We told the hotel we would arrive at 11:00 AM. We returned at the normal check-in time of 3:00 PM, but the room wasn’t ready until 4:30 PM. Since they knew our arrival time, this was disappointing.
Overall, a nice hotel with a great location, amazing views and lovely staff. The mouse and late check-in were unfortunate, but the staff handled the situation well.

Overall, a good hotel with a brilliant location. The room was cosy, with a comfortable bed. We booked a room with sauna access included.
Upon arrival, we were told that we had private access to the sauna and were given a fob for access. We weren't told that access was subject to availability or that other guests could also use the sauna if they paid extra.
We assumed that we had full access to the sauna throughout our entire stay. However, on one of the days, when we asked the staff to prepare the sauna, we were told that other guests had requested access, so we weren't able to use it.
We spoke to the manager and asked her to update the terms and conditions or the wording on the booking information to avoid confusion for future guests. We just thought it would have been nice to be notified beforehand.
We would not have booked that particular package if we had known that sauna access was subject to availability.

Air con in all rooms! Great place to stay.
We travelled during the heatwave in Paris where the temperatures were around 35 degrees C. I was concerned that the standard rooms were not listed as having aircon on their own website. (I booked through Easyjet Holidays and filtered results to include Aircon). However, on arrival we discovered that the rooms had EXCELLENT air conditioning. It was such a relief getting back to the hotel after sweating on the Metro each day. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. I bumped into several American tourists in the lobby and they all enjoyed their stay. Excellent location too, just a short walk from the Republique Metro and excellent bakeries within 5 minutes walk. Would stay here again.

Good location and a simple but very nice breakfast. Small room, but we expected that in Paris.
We would not stay here again though solely because of the hotel key/door policy. They insist you hand in your room key each time you leave the hotel. They make no check of your identity when you come back, so anyone could walk in and ask for your room key and they would hand it over. They also lock the front door of the hotel when the receptionist leaves the desk. We were locked inside the hotel when we wanted to go out, until the receptionist returned.

Everyone was so kind. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. Close to Metro and plenty to walk to near by.
