A perfect stay!!
Hotel Edouard really exceeded our expectations. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We ordered a taxi to Paris Nord Station for our return journey and the lady at the reception desk came outside to watch out for it and made sure we got into the right car. We found that extremely considerate! Our rooms #56 and 57 were very nice, although room #57 was much better equipped (large mirrors, lots of modern sockets, spacey etc.). Room #56, on the other hand, had a balcony. The airconditioning worked perfectly and was easily adjustable. Cleaning service was top. This is one of the few hotels I have encountered where the cleaning staff DOES leave your towels on the rack to be re-used. Lots of hotels have a notice about sustainabililty in the rooms but the cleaning staff changes the towels every day anyway, even though you don't want them to. We had not ordered breakfast in advance but had it in the hotel every day at 14 eur. It was much better than expected with fresh baguettes, croissants, eggs and bacon and all kinds of charcuterie, jams, fruit etc. We did not use the metro because all the sights we wanted to see were at walking distance but there is a metro station right in front of the hotel entrance. We were on the 5th floor and you could hear some noise from the metro station (railcars) in the distance but that did not bother us at all. I suppose that the higher up you are, the better. The elevator is very small (barely fits 2 people with 2 suitcases) but that was not a problem. Location is very good with lots of restaurants in the immediate surroundings. You really get value for your money at Hotel Edouard. Thanks to all the staff that made our stay enjoyable and carefree!

A WONDERFUL HOTEL
Five family members stayed at this lovely hotel in Montparnasse for 4 nights. We were absolutely delighted with our stay. All the staff at Reception were so friendly and so helpful. Our rooms were very comfortable and immaculately clean. We will certainly stay here again. The rooms are reasonably priced too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Situated right next to metro
With great links to rest of the city. Lovely restaurant next door.
Room we had was great size, comfy bed adequate bath and a beautiful
Balcony. Best of all was the friendly and accommodating staff - from reception, cleaners, breakfast.
A credit to a magical city.
Would recommend.

Satisfied with the choice. Hotel in a strategic location a few steps from the subway and bus stop that connects everything. Safe area full of markets and cafes. Clean room and friendly staff.

3 night stay in paris
Pro - The location was great. Cons - hair stuck in the showerhead and food on the floor, so obviously poor cleaning ethic.
We did not get the twin room we had requested.
No English breakfast teabags. One staff member in particular rolled her eyes at almost every request.

Unfortunately, our Standard Rooms cannot be configured as twin rooms. We understand that this may have been disappointing, and we are sorry that we were unable to accommodate your request.
When reservations are made through online travel agencies, unfortunately, certain information or specific requests do not always reach us correctly or in their entirety. This is why we tried to explain the room configuration to you on several occasions. Unfortunately, as the hotel was completely full during your stay, we had no other room available that could have accommodated your request.
Regarding the tea selection, we appreciate your suggestion and will take it into consideration.
