Great place for me to stay overnight and the check-in staff was very helpful with my bags. The stairs are quite steep to get to check in and I was struggling a bit). Room was great for the price and I wish I could have stayed longer to investigate the area just a little bit more.

Perfect for a short stay

Family from Quebec passing through for just one night. The rooms are small, as is often found in Europe. But everything was clean, the air conditioning worked very well, and it is well located, near restaurants and the train station.
The hotel breakfast is not worth it; for the price, there are better choices available nearby.

Merci d’avoir partagé votre expérience. Nous apprécions vraiment que vous ayez souligné la propreté de nos chambres, l’efficacité de la climatisation et notre emplacement à proximité de la gare Montparnasse et des nombreux restaurants du quartier.
Concernant le petit-déjeuner, nous comprenons que chacun ait ses préférences. Cela étant pour 16 €, nous proposons un buffet continental et américain à volonté avec plus de 60 produits, dont 5 variétés de fromages, 3 charcuteries, œufs brouillés, pancakes, saucisses, pain frais de la boulangerie du quartier, viennoiseries, produits sans gluten et jus d’orange frais pressé sur place. Nous espérons que cette diversité saura davantage vous séduire lors d’un prochain séjour.

Highly recommended

Family trip to Paris, we were not disappointed with our stay at the Hotel du Parc: perfect location for visiting Paris, hotel near the metro stations and the Montparnasse train station, lively neighborhood, perfect breakfasts, very quiet hotel and a very kind welcome, we will be back!

The hotel is very conveniently located to Gare Montparnasse, and was clean and air conditioned. Communication about check in was very clear, and our room was ready for us by early afternoon. Room is typical size for Paris, which is small by US standards, but was perfectly adequate for our needs. The only inconvenient aspect is that the entry lobby is up two steep flights of steps. An elevator is available from that point on.

Can be better with this room rate

The location is perfect for travellers—just a 5-minute walk from the Gare de Montparnasse. There are many restaurants and a big Monoprix nearby. It’s very convenient; however, there are also many homeless people around, which is very sad to see.
I was travelling with a large suitcase, and I really needed help to enter the building because you have to walk up the stairs to reach the concierge. The room is an okay size, but there were many flying objects/little midges in the shower room, which really worried me. Considering the room rate, I think the hotel could do a better job maintaining the rooms.
One interesting observation: if the room door isn’t closed properly, it triggers an alarm, which provides an added level of safety. The breakfast area was cute, and I had a good variety of options.
