Perfect value for money, very pleasant staff.

The hotel is very well located, a few minutes' walk from the Montparnasse train station, and right next to two subway lines.
The street is full of shops and lively, no problem finding dinner in the evening.
The rooms are perfectly adequate for the price, and with no noise from the inner courtyard.
The breakfast is hearty and varied, served in the room.
I particularly want to highlight the kindness of the staff, and especially Alice, who was perfect in terms of service and hospitality throughout the stay.

Near the Gare, metro, bars, cemetery A wonderful small hotel.

What a wonderful place. Amazing location 2 mins from Gare Montparnasse. Just basically cross the road. Staff were all I met so good at what they do. Efficient unhurried and competent. The room was immaculate. Looking over into the boulevard. Bars restaurants supermarkets metro. All a few steps away. Fine comfy bed. Great shower. Proper french breakfast and coffee made with a real gaggia machine. Breakfast from early until nearly midday if you do wished. I slept like a log. If there was noise from below I certainly never heard. And if so, so what it’s Paris. The hotel was always quiet. And staff were always so. I will definitely return and could not recommend too highly. A fabulous authentic Paris small business. Thanks

Budget Friendly hotel

Our experience was wonderful at this hotel. We booked 2 rooms and they were able to accommodate the rooms on the same floor and next to each other. The rooms are small - but we did not plan on spending much time in the room. I don't think we even turned the TV on while we were there.
The daily continental breakfast was very good.
It was a great location for everything that we had planned.

Awful experience

We spent two awful nights at the Hotel de la Tour in early August during a heatwave. No air conditioning in a tiny room, and we could not leave the windows open because they overlooked the roof and would have provided easy access to the plague of rats that is sweeping Paris at the moment.
The bathroom had a toilet, a sink and a shower with enough room for a thin man like myself to have a shower while taking great care not to drop the soap as, even for me, there was not enough room to bend over and pick it up. I estimated the shower base was 60cm square.

Quaint but perfect!

Like many hotels in this part of the woods, they are compact. We were greeted with a smile, loved the location in a colourful part of Paris and found everything we needed in the room and surrounding area. Comfy bed, lovely brekky and friendly helpful staff. We love value for money but also love feeling like youve found a place away from the tourist pressures. This place will be our "go to" for every trip to Paris. Close to railway station, close to great restaurants, close to Paris and the "hop on hop off bus route", close to the old cemetery which we loved and so much more! Forget staying in the heart of Paris, this place is wonderful!!
