Fantastic 4 days in Hotel Amoi

Location is fantastic for getting around the city- it is a small boutique hotel that has been refurbished very recently- extremely modern bedrooms and very clean . The reception staff are extremely helpful and sourced us a plug adaptor free of charge as he have UK plugs - we never ate at the hotel - there is an amazing bakery across the road to the right 20 meters away which does breakfasts, coffees and beautiful pastries..This hotel is a little gem - we had 2 bedrooms , one room was bigger than the other but both super modern and extremely clean . The gym in the basement consists of a tower , treadmill and cross trainer - it was always empty when i went - the machines are brand new and the latest tech … super hotel .

The sheets were stained when we arrived, the towels were ripped, and the staff was very un helpful in helping to get them replaced after being asked multiple times. The staff was often not attending the desk and would be sitting on the couches in the lounge area on their phones. The shower shelf and door handle were both broken. We were there a week and ran out of the soap after a few days and had to ask for more.
One night there was banging and shouting in the hallway that woke us up. We asked the staff what was happening via WhatsApp, which they read and did not reply to. We made sure to lock our door at night afterwards.
The location is very convenient but I would not recommend staying here.

Mid-week stay in Paris

We stayed here for 3 nights for our Silver Wedding anniversary. We were given a lovely, air-conditioned room. Impeccably clean. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Quiet, calm and relaxing atmosphere. The location, close to Place de la Republique, is great. Easy access to all the main landmarks.
Good value for money. Would definitely return.

Rooms were very clean, larger than expected for Paris, and the AC was AMAZING. Super convenient to multiple metro stops and lots of places to eat in the area.

We had a fantastic stay here and would definitely recommend it.
We paid a little extra to upgrade to the More Room, and it was well worth it. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space, and the bathroom was modern with a powerful shower. We also appreciated having coffee-making facilities in the room, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a big difference during our stay in so degree plus heat!
The location is excellent—just a short walk from République Metro Station, which has five metro lines, making it incredibly easy to explore all of Paris.
The hotel is also in a lovely part of the 10th arrondissement, with a really local feel. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants, bars, and cafés nearby. We’d highly recommend visiting Les Parigots for an amazing meal/ drinks and Mamiche for some of the best pastries/ sandwiches we had in Paris.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
