2 km from Notre-Dame. The neighbourhood feels very safe. Would stay there again and would recommend to a friend.

Noisy location

I was told upon arrival that the twin room I booked was no longer available and placed in a double room. We were offered to change rooms next day but decided to remain where we were.
The room was overlooking the road and it was very noisy throughout the night, to the point that I checked if we had left the balcony window open. Which we hadn’t. However on our final night (Friday) the noise from outside was unbearable and we had no sleep at all. We had to leave at 4:30 am so got no sleep at all.
The reception staff were polite and pleasant and no issues. Though you had to leave your key before you went out.
Whilst we were waiting to leave and sat I. Reception a small mouse (rodent) ran past my daughters foot in the dining area. I don’t think the security guard noticed and we didn’t say anything.

One night stay before early train from Gare de Lyon which is about 6-7 min walk.
Quick efficient check in. Didn’t use any other amenities.
Twin room was ok size with adequate hanging space and a small minibar. Comfortable beds.

Not very welcoming welcome

The hotel's location is good, the room acceptable. The aspect that struck us negatively, however (besides the poor breakfast), consists of the almost deliberate unhelpfulness and the manifest and unmotivated rudeness of the reception staff.

The hotel was clean and in a great location. Within walking distance from Gare de Lyon. The hotel also let us leave our bags before and after our reservation. The AC worked great.
