Very well-maintained hotel in a good location.
The hotel is somewhat away from the center, right at the Daumesnil Metro Station (lines 6 and 8). The center with all the sights, including the Eiffel Tower, is easily accessible.
The only downside in June 2026 was the major renovation in the house next door (noise starting at 8 AM). This did not bother me much for a city tour.
The room was sufficiently large and very well-maintained. The staff were very friendly; communication was also possible in English without any issues.
Conclusion: The hotel is highly recommended.

Paris Hotel Selection Won’t Be A Chore Again
Knowing there is a hotel like the Grand Hotel Dore makes us want to hurry back to Paris! With the Grand Hotel Dore’s wonderful staff and quality of facility, we feel like we have found a secret marvelous place to stay in Paris. When we’re planning our next trip, deciding where to stay will not be the chore it has always been in the past.
There were a lot of little things we liked. The Grand Hotel Dore has luxury while being small and efficient. Monogramed towels, quality two paned windows that opened for fresh air, and when closed kept out street noise. In the hallways, thick carpeting and heavy room doors kept the sounds of arrivals and departures of other guests out of our room. The breakfasts were nutritious, tasty, high quality, and always ready early.
And it is conveniently served by a 2-line Metro Station that had a human at the ticket window to assist with buying tickets, and teach us about Metro idiosyncrasies.

Very good stay.
Hotel very well located - 2 minutes from the subway, on a green, calm, airy avenue. Pleasant reception and service. Quality breakfast, with a very varied selection. Well soundproofed room, very comfortable bedding, well-equipped bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and we will certainly return.

My Paris hotel each time I visit France
My 4th stay, my 1s being in 2009. The owner is a very nice gracious host. All the staff are excellent, but one is truly world class: Feta at the front desk who always provides an incredible welcome. The room is comfortable & quiet. The buffet breakfast is great including the fantastic cheeses & bread, as well as fruits, cereal, pastries, and much more. The hotel is a short distance from the Metro Daumesnil. Bus 46 which goes to the Gare d'est train station (or transfer to another bus for Gare de North) is literally right in front of the hotel! A wonderful bakery with delicious sandwiches is a couple doors down from the hotel. Auchan supermarket is near the Metro stop.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and cleaned everyday. Airconditioner worked well and kept room cool. Staff was very kind and helpfull.
