Luxurious, fun and fabulous!!

elt warm, welcoming and wonderfully personal. Anna Brosi made our check-in and entire visit (the best recommendations!!) especially memorable with such gracious hospitality, and that same level of thoughtful, attentive service continued throughout our stay.
One of our favorite touches was the “Goody Bar,” filled with different Fauchon treats and products to sample and even take home. It was such a fun and unexpected detail and perfectly captured what makes this hotel so unique. Everything is beautifully curated to feel luxurious, but also playful, engaging and distinctly Fauchon.
The location was perfect, particularly for a shorter visit to Paris, making it incredibly easy to enjoy the city without wasting time getting from place to place.
What we appreciated most was how every detail felt intentional, from the design and amenities to the warm and gracious service. It was an elevated experience without ever feeling overly formal. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would absolutely return.

Beautiful room but lacklustre overall

We booked Fauchon after reading the reviews but we were underwhelmed. Although our room was beautiful (tip: ask for a room on an even-numbered floor as the ceilings are high, whereas they’re not on the odd-numbered floors), we didn’t find anything stand out at the hotel. It doesn’t really have a lobby, just two desks in the foyer, nor a “hotel bar” as it were as the cafe which is part of the hotel is where you have drinks and breakfast. For the price per night, there are more personal and impressive places to stay - apart from the room being exactly as we’d hoped, everything else was unremarkable

Overpriced

The hotel is a beautiful boutique property in a great and safe neighborhood. The front desk staff, especially Shadi and the lovely lady whose name I unfortunately forgot, were extremely helpful, attentive, and pleasant.
However, the room was very small and overpriced. We stayed on the 9th floor and could barely open our luggage, while the bathroom was unnecessarily large. The bathtub was very deep and uncomfortable to get in and out of, and there was no standing shower. The “balcony” was also not an actual balcony.
The breakfast was à la carte, but unfortunately not very fresh or delicious, except for the excellent bread basket. The restaurant staff were also not very pleasant and seemed to rush guests to clear the tables.
Overall, the hotel has a great location and wonderful front desk service, but there are several areas that need improvement.

Disappointing stay – service has completely collapsed (5th visit)

We arrived at 12:00 fully aware that official check-in is 15:00. Staff told us the room would be ready soon, so we waited. While sitting in the lobby we repeatedly overheard other guests being offered upgrades and various perks. At 13:30 I asked for an update and was casually told the room would actually be ready at 14:00.
We left to grab a quick lunch and returned after 14:00 – the room still wasn’t ready. It finally became available at 14:30. We had therefore spent a large part of a short stay waiting unnecessarily, simply because staff had given us false expectations.
The “Deluxe” room we received was on the first floor and extremely small, with a low ceiling. The only spacious part was the corridor. The view was of a public toilet.
This is our fifth stay at Fauchon. We have stayed at many hotels in Paris and honestly believed we had found our favourite. Until now we genuinely loved this place. This time it feels as if the entire management is on holiday and service standards have disappeared. The clearest illustration: when we returned from lunch, the person responsible for checking us in was sitting on the pavement 50 metres from the hotel smoking. No one even looks up when guests walk through the door.
A once-excellent hotel that has unfortunately lost its way. Now we are back to searching for a new favourite in Paris.

Excellent stay at Fauchon L’Hotel Paris!

Excellent stay at Fauchon L’Hotel Paris! What really makes the experience special is their service. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to our every need. The breakfast was excellent, as was the location and amenities. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel with amazing service without the extreme price tag, this is the place for you.
