Superb stay at Château du Bois Guy from May 2 to 4, 2026
beautiful site. We had our room in a castle outbuilding,
This one was spacious and very nice.
We were very well received upon arrival.
Dinner was delicious, one faultless from starter to dessert, the waiters were very nice.
Everything was perfect and we were also quiet. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful site. (We returned for the second time and will return as soon as the opportunity arises).
I recommend.

Disappointing
We expected a night in a luxury castle which is not the case in the end. We slept in an ecolodge, came as a couple and had to
asked that the bed be made for a couple and not a small bed each. One over mattress was installedbut we still had to keep the two individual duvets...
The overmatla was not clean there was a smell of animals.. looking under this morning there were dog hair surely and many stains and there was no comfort only a flat sheet.
The meal was good but a unique menu no possibility to choose nor wine list at the table.
Breakfast stays in the same lineage, the plates were not clean...
We thought we were coming to a place of standing that doesn't have one. I don't recommend it.

Catastrophic meals
Shabby home,not even a locker room or coat door
Meals worthy of a road restaurant, nothing gastronomic,
We had booked for 7.30pm, so we were the first at the restaurant
Menu
Smoked salmon and herbal cream, salty crumble my Danish: fair but crumble inedible worse than caramel
Then:
Fillet of beard/Filt of veal or Pavé de boeuf
Risotto and its squash muslin
Vegetable tagliatelle
-at 8pm: no beard, no fillet of veal
Only choice: beef paving stone, we were not asked to cook and when the dish was served big disappointment: tough meat, overcooked risotto: porridge

White wine: 3 bottles presented at the table
Red wine: 3 bottles presented the same way, we took a St Emilion and surprised the other tables had only the 2 bottles remaining
We asked for rosé: non-existent

The woman who served us seemed to know her job, unfortunately very embarrassed by our findings
