we love our stay here
the owner is very helpful, ready to give all info, order pizza, he gave us an adaptor to charge our phone.
lots of groceries store close to the lodge, bakery
it was awesome, we did not enjoy the terrace because of rain, otherwise it was fine
will come back for sure.

Rude and intimidating owners.
We occupied 3 apartments, two in the main building and one across the street.
The night we arrived we held a (harmless) dress up evening. We stayed in the large apartment, in the basement area and ensured we kept noise to a minimum. There were a couple of visits across the street to the other apartments, but, respectful of the neighbourhood we kept noise to a minimum whilst outside the apartment.
We received an email from the owners at 12.30am letting us know there had been complaints about our attire (my sister had a goth stage as a teen, we were FULLY CLOTHED in black and wore dark eye-make up) and the noise.
When we read this in the morning, at around 9am, we quickly replied apologising and stated it was not our intention. It was stated "police were called" but at no point did we have any interaction with the French Authorities.
We went off to Disney Land that day, hoping that the matter was over.
Sadly not, as when we returned about 8pm we found an abusive and insulting letter stuck to the front door (see pic attached)*.
We were shocked to read the threatening and offensive language used to describe ourselves (FYI- our group included primary school teachers and nurses) I would like to think that it wasn't their intention to describe us as a "Brothel" and I'd be interested as to what they meant by the term "Brothers". They had also been in the apartment snooping around whilst we were out.
On a whole it put a real dampener on the weekend, not enough to stop us having fun, but enough to make us feel uncomfortable as the "owners" and residents continued to gawp at us with antiquated opinions and unwelcoming behaviour for the rest of our stay.
Will. Never. Go. Back.
* as for the term "hotel" we had to make our own beds and the sheets and towels arrived about 10pm at night. The main apartment had no windows and was like a furnace with no air-con.
