Good location and comfortable stay

Room was medium size, clean and air conditioning. Small safe for valuables and a T V available. No tea/coffee in room, no laundry service or ironing board available. Wifi available but difficult to capture at times (maybe everyone using at the same time).
Location within walking distance to the port/harbour where there are boat rides available, restaurants etc. There is also a pharmacy and supermarket nearby.
Spa services available ($).Did not see parking anywhere.

Weekend in Porto

Spacious and air-conditioned accommodation, which is very much appreciated. The big downside: the television that doesn't work, quite a few spiderwebs above the bed, and the parking lot that looks like a dump...
Otherwise, very well located and dog-friendly

A few things to consider

Let me start by saying that the staff is very friendly, the room was clean and you can put stuff in the freezer if you want. Airconditioning is very nice in the summer.
But there are some things to consider before you book;
-parking is either on the side of the road or a piece of gravel land owned by the restaurant opposite the hotel;
-walls are very thin;
-English is hardly spoken except by someone in the restaurant (who is not anywere near the reception desk);
-quality of the room (230) was okay but not really great (sinks could not hold water, the water was very smelly of chlorine and the power was lousy);
-wifi was questionable. You get a code for 24h, but get kicked of so often that we knew our codes by heart.

Standard rooms, good value

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of May/beginning of June when rates in Corsica are still reasonable. The room was standard but clean and it was nice to have a bathtub in the bathroom. We enjoyed the balcony which had a view of the nearby mountains and a (distant) view of the sea. The cost for WiFi seemed a little outrageous considering it is standard in so many places, but as we weren't here to sit on a computer we didn't pay for it and so weren't bothered by it.
We were surprised by the quality of the food in the restaurant - perhaps they have changed since other reviews. The first night we ordered a couple of pizzas and some beer which we took to our room and enjoyed on the balcony while watching the sunset - the quality of the pizzas was decent and seemed to be fresh. We had a long day so on the second night decided to eat in the restaurant and were surprised by the quality - the souris d'agneau was excellent and done with Moroccan spices and served with couscous. We found the staff in the restaurant to be very friendly.
The hotel is not directly on the coast but is close enough to the beach and port where one can get a boat tour to visit the Scandola Nature Reserve which was our main reason for staying in the area. There are spectacular views in the area so it's good base for exploring.

Good value for money

Considering that we are in Corsica where even the air you are breathing is expensive, this hotel represents a good compromise. We stayed in July and we found it relatively cheap, quite clean and comfortable.
We had a room with a lovely view on the sea, very romantic. The room and the bathroom are big enough for a three stars hotel.
The staff is helpful, no parking is available (only for motorbikes) but it should not be a problem to park your car near by.
I would recommend it.
