Great Stay!

This hotel is good for a quick stay. Was in Nancy for two days and this boutique hotel was in the center of Nancy close to all the sites. Room was small, but nice. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Staff was nice.

Great location - underwhelming stay

Great location.
Guy on reception a bit brusque, no welcome . Staff at breakfast did not speak a word to us.
No ‘good morning’ they just hung out in the kitchen, talking to each other and giggling.
Everything worked, lights, shower etc. Room a bit small. Breakfast area a bit cramped.
Generally underwhelming.

Give us a chair!

The hotel is well situated, close to Place Stanislas. and we stayed for one night in June, selecting the hotel as it has a high rating on TripAdvisor. The hotel staff at Reception were very friendly and helpful, as were the staff at breakfast, which was very good. The stay was pleasant overall and the bedroom was quite large but I do not understand why, like so many other hotels, they provided just one chair. So there is a double bed, two towels, but when it is pouring with rain outside, just after you have arrived, and you both want to sit down until the shower passes, one of you has to sit on the really uncomfortable chair, with the other lying on the bed. It just seems so unnecessary for a 4* hotel when another chair could be provided as the room is for 2 people.

Amazing location with great service and stunning rooms. Just the notices from the city are something to take into account. Personal, WiFi, rooms and spa are all above expectations. Would stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hôtel Littéraire Stendhal (with air conditioning thankfully). Our room was built directly adjacent to the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation et Saint-Sigisbert. In fact, our hotel featured part of the exterior facade with two 18th-century baroque cherubs on our "wall." The staff and service was superb. We were amazed by how quiet the room was with a bustling café and busy street below.
The breakfast offerings were delicious and well worth adding to our stay. We parked our automobile across the street at the Stanislas Parking, which was both convenient and cost-effective (unfortunately the parking elevator was out of service).
Thank you for a great experience. We look forward to staying at Hôtel Littéraire Stendhal during our next visit to Nancy 🇫🇷
