Make sure you get the code for the parking. You need to stop at the Relais before you cross the bridge. They just check you in and give you a map. You need to get the map at reception of Les Terrace. It’s confusing but eventually you get there.

Wonderful to stay on the island, but the room was disappointing.
We stayed 1 night; Saturday, May 9, 2026 in this hotel which is directly above the restaurant of the same name. I booked months in advance and the description online, the website and booking sounded so fabulous. When we arrived early-afternoon entering the parking area was a maze of roads. We went around the area 3 times!! asked 3 different staff people on bikes or on foot for help, trying to find the hotel parking area. When we did get to the correct place, the code the hotel gave us, did not work, so we thought we were in the wrong place. We went around again, were assured the location was correct, so we pulled over, called the hotel and received a new code. Took the shuttle bus. Arriving on the island, we could not find the hotel (even though the directions were simple enough). Aaaah, the problem was, there was no sign with the name of the hotel. Instead the hotel name to the correct lobby was a completely different name. So confusing. We were allowed to leave our bags on the floor in a pile with dozens of other bags, as we could not check in until 3PM.
Once checked in the room was very tiny (I understand we were in a medieval location) and very stuffy, no ventilation, teeny little bathroom and bathtub. We did have a window to open, which we did for some air. However, previous occupants must have left the window open during a rain storm, as the carpet and floor were soaking wet, the window sill had paint peeling off from being wet. Our window view was of the wall across the street. The street below (the window) was a very busy area and very noisy until after 10 pm. In the morning at 5:30 AM there was a crowd of people talking very loudly below our window. So much for it being a peaceful stay. We feel the hotel did not live up to its name as described. I do not recommend staying here.

The room was clean and suited us very well. It is a room in an older building, so the room was quite small with no room for any luggage and the amenities were simple. But we were prepared so there wasn't any surprises. The setting was magnificent, and yes I would most definitely recommend a stay on the mount!

Mont St Michel is amazing, wonderful, stunning. All the buildings on it are relatively small, quaint and old fashioned.
We went for a room with a view over the ramparts.
It had a kettle and water in a fridge, a double bed and a small en-suite bathroom and was fine/good.
It doesn’t have air-conditioning or a lift (there are only a few stairs to and in the property, but they are quite steep - but that’s the nature of the place.
The downside was from about 5.30am in the morning Mont St Michel and all of its restaurants and shops are being re-supplied and litter is being taken away and this is a very very noisy (but essential) process and continues for about 2.5 hours or more.
There’s nothing the hotel can do about this - it’s just the price you pay for staying in somewhere like this. (And I would say is worth it!)

I wish I had a better stay at this hotel for the price I paid. It was only 1 night but the biggest problem was that I was not warned that everything was closed at 9pm. It didn't even crossed my mind as such a turistic place I thought It would be something to eat. Not even a vending machine at the hotel or the city. NOTHING. I found a pair of flipflops in the room, 1 under the bed which means they didn't clean or check properly. The hairdryer was not working but the team provided us another one.
I think I could have a better time there cause it's not a cheap place to stay. And even if it was, for most of us it's a unique experience so it should hold better memories.
It was not bad at all, but I'd only stay there again if there was the only place left.
