Wonderfully Charming & Rustic.

If you want an authentic rustic vineyard and historic country manor experience then this is the place. Anne & Jean Christophe run a wonderful historic family home on a B&B basis. The old family house is charming and rustic. There is WiFi, and there is a wonderful old lounge (communal area which encourages the guest to interact) with TV, tea & coffee, a full-size snooker table and the icing on the cake a few bottles of the family's own wine produce for 'tasting' purposes. The gardens are informal and pretty and the birdlife is excellent for a 'birder' like me. Anne provided a wonderful breakfast around a large dining table for all the guests. I found this hotel very calming and restful and wished we could have stayed longer!

Worth a visit

A very friendly and kind welcome. A gourmet breakfast in an authentic residence. Organic wine production and tasting on demand adds an extra interest to a very pleasant stay in a peaceful region and multiple attractions

Best host offering a truly lovely place to stay and a wonderful travel experience

Anne is the consummate host offering a very comfortable French country-style experience in a 16th century manor house nestled in the center of award-winning vineyard grounds tended by her husband Jean Christophe. Perfectly located near many beautiful small villages, bustling market towns, and the two larger town of Tours and Amboise that offer markets, stylish shops, and fine restaurants to suit all tastes. Such all-around experience as Anne presents is unmatched anywhere and she does this all with laughter and a sparkling personality. We have stayed with her many times over the last 10 years and look forward to many stays in the coming years.

A wonderful quiet spot with excellent breakfast!

A place of peace in the middle of vineyards and close to the forest! In cloudless skies has a wonderful view of the starry sky. Rooms are comfortable and clean! The team is helpful and friendly! Breakfast takes place almost familiarly in a beautiful room around a large, ample table. The croissants are so good that we all asked about the bakery (they allegedly come from one of the two bakeries in Saint-Martin-le-Beau)! The place is the ideal starting point for car and bicycle trips! We also ended a day just sitting in the shade in the garden. Tea and coffee are always available for free and there is a new 1.5 L bottle of water in the room every day! We would definitely come back!

Fabulous B & B.

Outstanding. Centrally located to visit the chateaux of Loire. Close to Amboise. Owners are amazing. Rooms are large and spacious, beautifully furnished. Breakfast was delicious and substancial. Be sure to try their wine which was some of the best we tasted in France.
