Tranquility and good cheese

When we arrived there was no one waiting. However, the experience was very good. It is a very spacious country house in a small farm dedicated to cheese making. The setting is very quiet because it is a very small village. The rooms are very spacious and the living room on the ground floor very nice. Breakfast was great, with natural yogurt, croissants, homemade bread and apricot jam. The cheese is really fantastic.

Inedible cheese.

Inedible cheese, very dry. Despite my request to buy a less hard cheese, I was refused. I truly regret the purchase.
I do not recommend.

Excellent Chambres d'hotes

We have been following the Tour de France and before catching up with them at Bagneres de Luchon we stayed at Lou Lombres. It was very comfortable, clean and welcoming and the proprietor was very helpful. You will need a bit of French though!
They have several rooms and also have a farm where the cows' milk is used for cheese making ( excellent cheese ) and the whey goes to free range pigs which eventually become sausages. They are in a very small village so we had to travel to a nearby restaurant for our evening meal. Breakfast was continental. They were kind enough to insist that our open car was parked in a barn.

Todo para facilitar una estancia perfecta.

Nos lo asignaron en un viaje con bicicletas para dormir una noche, incluyendo la cena y el desayuno. El hotel está algo descuidado por los exteriores, el interior si que está cuidado, es un hotel para lo que fuimos nosotros: de paso. El personal, eso si, muy atento y las comidas normales con productos de la zona.

rapport qualité prix excellent . Quelques à côté à améliorer. Rapport un peu mercantile ;-)

excellente communication pour réserver. Le gps nous a un peu égaré! Maison dans un très bel environnement rural . Accueil très explicatif. Pour ce prix modique, une chambre belle, grande et très propre avec wc séparé et salle de bains complète. tout est nickel. et même un volet roulant. Le confort. Wifi ok. Mini frigo à l'étage à disposition pour nos boisons ou produits perso. c'est un + . y compris offre de congeler si besoin un pack de glace. Le petit déjeuner nous a déçu avec un café filtre et pas de produits locaux. On s'est empressé le soir de nous proposer la visite de la fromagerie, très préparée à l'avance ;-) . Nous avons pris un fromage maturé à notre gout, le fromage plus frais ne nous plaisant pas . Et des charcuteries et conserves . dans le prix du marché et les plats cuisinés étaient en fait fort chers pour la quantité et le gout. étiquettes très peu renseignées . les porcs ne sont pas nés sur place, ils sont en semi liberté, le lait des vaches ne vient pas de la ferme. Les patés sont très bons. La nuit, la famille ne dormait pas là, donc on n'est pas dans un environnement familial. On a eu des déboires pour le diner. On nous avait envoyé sur un restaurant très cher alors qu'on nous avait annoncé 20à 25€. Alors on a erré dans toute la région. on a mangé une mauvaise pizza à 10km de là. On a essayé de téléphoner à la maison d'hôtes pour des conseils, ça n'a pas répondu. Ce serait bien que nos hôtes prévoient un dépannage. réchauffer une boite de cassoulet, par exemple . ça nous aurait évité la galère !
