Quirky, nicely decorated, nice food but cold rooms

Nice place, quirky decoration based on Mille miglia 1000. Nice food for evening meal, but served around 9pm which was a bit late for our taste. Rooms were well appointed, but the temperature was pretty cold and took some fiddling with radiators to get anywhere near a comfortable temperature. Breakfast bread and croissant were fresh and plentiful. No English tea, only fruit, and milk not available (bit odd for breakfast time?).
Overall a reasonable good experience, but needs a bit of tweaking to get five stars.

Une étape très agréable

Une très belle découverte...
Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement, le dîner et petit déjeuner étaient excellents et nous avons passé la nuit dans une chambre charmante. Cela nous a également permis de rencontrer Catharina et de profiter de son histoire et de ses anecdotes.
C'était inespéré de pouvoir profiter de ce confort au milieu de cette campagne calme.
Merci encore Catharina!

lieu pommé, sans charme extérieur

Habitué des chambres d'hôtes jai été surpris du lieu. Dans un village de 70 habitants, une maison de rue au milieu de la rue principale avec une façade "ordinaire" loin des lieux de vacances habituels. En entrant dans ce lieu la déco (collection de véhicules et motos) est sympa avec un beau bar et salon. Le repas correct mais (cas rare en chambre hotes) avec supplément pour boissons et sans complicité ou intimité (hôtes à la table voisine alors quon a l'habitude le soir soit de dîner avec les hôtes soit qu'ils passent entre deux). Cote environnement, la vue sur un parking (dont on a pas acces) n'est pas top. Dommage enfin quil soit difficile de discuter avec des personnes parlant moyennement (Mme) ou très difficilement (Mr) notre langue. Conclusion, on a vu, testé mais ne conseillons pas.

Une nuit reposante après une journée "anniversaire" dans la région.

Chambre très propre avec un lit très confortable pour une nuit reposante.
La salle de bains était tout aussi propre mais avec un baignoire sans bouchon. J'aurai préféré une simple douche dans ce cas mais ce n'est pas problématique.
Catharina est accueillante et est aux petits soins pour le petit-déjeuner.

Niet alleen voor de liefhebbers van oldtimers, maar wel erg leuk voor wie het wel zijn :-)

Deze bijzondere B&B met de klassieke autorally als hoofdthema met Nederlandse eigenaren midden in het Franse platteland is een echte aanrader. Het gebouw is een oude boerderij die met zorg is gemoderniseerd, zonder dat de authentieke karakter verloren is gegaan. De eigenaresse vertelde daar ook met passie over.
De man van het huis organiseert oldtimers events en restaureert ook oude Italiaanse auto's en motoren en als je het leuk vindt dan krijg je ook de gelegenheid om die te bewonderen.
De eigenaren zelf hebben 2 honden en en kat, huisdieren zijn hier dan ook welkom.
Door de vertraging op de route konden wij pas om 22:30 uur bij deze accommodatie arriveren, maar het was absoluut geen probleem. Wij worden hartelijk onthaalt en geleid naar onze ruime en comfortabel ingerichte kamer. De kamer heeft naast een ruime kast en waterkoker ook toegang tot een balkonnetje met een zitje - erg fijn.
Wij hadden ook beschikking op een luxe badkamer met een heerlijke massage / regendouche.
Het ontbijt was heerlijk met zelfgemaakte jam, gekookte eitjes en uiteraard kaas en versgebakken brood.
Een echte aanrader!
