Not satisfied

Charming staff, well placed hotel, no traffic noise despite the street. Comfortable bedding. No elevator. We had 3 bedrooms for a family stay. The 115 strongly discouraged, not renovated, view of the nearby bodywork... Very old fridge making a lot of noise (obligation to disconnect it to sleep serenely) . Shower room with a lot of trace of mold, used toilet brush, dusty ventilation plate, trace on the furniture. Two tooth glasses for three... lots of dust under the beds. Outlet outlet. Non-blackout curtains, iron with scalloped sole, kettle...

Looks better on pics than in reality

The hotel is located between 2 metro stations. Train station is 15 min walking. The rooms are rather small. So was the double bed. The bed and the pillows are comfortable.
We had one with a private bathroom and a garden view. The rooms are in two buildings with a small garden between them. The guys on reception are very nice and extremely helpful.
The Booking.com said the room would be with a kitchenette, but in reality there was a fridge and a microwave. I had to ask for utensils and a kettle, as they do not keep them in the room, but give on the request, to avoid extra cleaning. The fridge was not on when we came and was not defrosted properly, so it was full of water when we started to use it.
TV channels only in French. The towels are only for shower, no hand towels were provided. The towels are changed every day, the same with waste bins, but no cleaning.
The shower curtain in our room was too short, so the floor was always full of water after the shower.
It was rather cold and damp in the room, so we had to keep windows open to get the damp out.
Generally the hotel is value for money, but there are things that can and needs to be improved.

le merveilleux Paris

Great location, nearby metro station.
Clean, cozy environment, well-equipped room with fridge and microwave, a beautiful garden full of flowers and well-kept plants.
Ideal for my stay in Paris
