Stay that meets my expectations

Located a 15-minute walk from La Roche sur Yon station and having a restaurant with terrace, I was greeted by a staff composed of people all as friendly as each other.
Room 35 upstairs was compact and clean despite a shower that requires a slight refreshment.
I had a very good night's sleep before a big day's work (the memory pillow had something to do with it).
The next morning, breakfast (cold buffet) was served in an optimized room (I couldn't find the shelf to slide the tray after the meal was finished the first time).
It was simple but effective.

Hygiene problem

The staff is really adorable but it can not compensate for the problems.
Cleaning of the bathroom is limited, especially at ground level. Food service space is also limited in hygiene.
There is a strong smell of sewage in the toilet which is really unpleasant and annoying.
The quality of the breakfast is also very average.

Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful.

a very good reception
a 3 star but very good..comfortable room, memory pillow.
very decent breakfast... real chocolate to drink... frozen yogurt... never seen before...
a good bar
no restaurant on Friday night but plenty of snack choices...
15min from downtown on foot..

All right.

I spent a short night in the hotel. Hotel very clean and beautiful. Perfect shape memory cushion. It made me want to buy one. I really recommend this hotel. Staff kind and very courteous, thank you for the last minute night.
