A relaxing and memorable stay

We had a fabulous relaxing stay at the chateau. A lovely welcome from Kerry and Marcus and their lovely dogs. A welcome glass of chilled wine and a beer on arrival in the beautiful garden, surrounded by quiet, except for the rustling of leaves and the sounds of nature. Just what we needed.
The family room we had was delightful. Spacious and decorated with Kerry and Marcus’s eclectic style. A very comfortable bed. Delightful views from the windows.
An added advantage was being able to dine at Marcus’s Restaurant, Chez Sam, in Saint Amand Montrond. The best meal of the holiday, fresh, vibrant food, full of flavour, with a unique flavour profile. And excellent value.
A perfect halfway stop between the south and the ferry. Lots of knowledge on the local area, gave us an opportunity to visit some lovely local towns and abbey.
A memorable visit, it would be great to revisit in the different seasons. A memorable and relaxing stay enhanced by the hospitality of Kerry and Marcus.

Lots of charm

Lots of charm in this place. A friendly welcome from the owners over a drink. The room is well furnished, antique objects, paintings... comfortable beds.
A big embellishment work done, especially these squares of yews and beautiful roses they created.
One plus: the owner opened a restaurant in Saint Amant with refined and original cuisine.

A comfortable overnight stay of chateau and tasty meals

A very pleasant overnight stay in a beautiful quiet and bucolic property with a nice welcome, an excellent table d'hotes, comfortable bedding and a very good breakfast. Beautiful decoration by the upholsterer owner with very sure taste

Don't tell anyone, its too good to share!

This is a great stopover on way through France. The chateau is such a fantastic
setting.Reception is brilliant, we were welcomed and given a cool glass of wine! Room has everything and very tastefully decorated. Evening meal excellent. Breakfast great too.

Uncommercial attitude of hosts

The stay did not pose any problem, it was a request following an oversight on site which gave rise to this opinion.
I forgot a nightgown and asked the owners to send it back to me at my expense obviously, but they are asking me for compensation of €10 more to put it in an envelope and drop it off at the post office, it's a inexpensive and not very commercial!!! I had already noticed in the room that there was mention (in English only) of a €5 compensation if you left a plastic bottle…
I do not recommend these hosts in a very pretty place.
