Residence Côté Mer
Located on Couchant beach in La Grande-Motte, this residence provides modern accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can swim in the outdoor swimming pool or in the Mediterranean Sea. A children’s pool is also available and the Arena entertainment hall is a 15-minute drive away. Résidence Coté Mer has self-catering apartments and studios, all equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a balcony with a view of the sea or the harbor. The private bathroom includes a bathtub or a shower for the apartments and a hairdryer. All of the accommodations at Résidence Coté Mer also feature a kitchenette, with electric hotplates, a microwave and a refrigerator. There are also a dishwasher and a coffee machine. Free public parking is available on site and Montpellier is 12 mi from the property. Private parking is also possible with an extra cost and Aigues-Mortes is 6.2 mi away.

4-NIGHT STAY
The only downside is that significant expansion work on the port (scheduled for two years) causes noise, a lot of dust, and makes parking difficult. Fortunately, the receptionist, who was very pleasant, found us a private parking space and allowed us to access the accommodation earlier.
Once the construction is completed and parking is made easier, we will gladly return to this establishment.

Big disappointment, construction in progress
Dust and an unfavorable setting upon arrival. Bedding not comfortable. Terrace impossible to use. The owner is not pleasant. No compassion. Despite our complaint, nothing was done. Big disappointment. Fortunately, the air conditioning was working. One positive point.

Avoid dust and hellish noise.
No empathy from the staff regarding the allocation of apartments, even after we reported our lung problem before our arrival. A housing unit was assigned on the first floor under construction. We did not enjoy the terrace due to the constant dust, and we would have liked to be informed before our arrival.
We will not return.
