Tiptop in order

After a long walk in the mountains we are immediately warmly welcomed by the couple from the inn. After settling into eleven spacious rooms we went to eat at the inn. The food is made from scratch. This did not affect the quality because my snab was very tasty. In the morning there was a rich breakfast which was also very tasty. We needed transport to our next starting point of the hike but taxis could not reach the inn. The innkeeper decided to take us.
In short: everything was perfectly fine and I have nothing bad to say.

I recommend!

We had a very pleasant stay at this hostel: clean room and bathroom, hearty breakfast, very good meals (dinner) with local dishes that will please young and old! Very good value for money: we left during the day to ski among others in Avoriaz, St Jean d’Aulps, visited the Abbey of St Jean... I can not recommend!

A wonderful time at the Auberge du Bois du Cornet

A charming village inn. With ease. There, we feel like family, everyone talks to each other as if we've known each other forever. No fuss, no frills, but a sincere welcome where the “bosses” are friendly and take great care of the customers.
Monsieur is serving and Madame is in the kitchen. And what cuisine!! Good traditional cuisine and above all, very hearty dishes! You won't be hungry when you leave this restaurant! And then it's open all year round, which is worth noting in a ski region where as soon as the ski lifts close, all the restaurateurs (or almost all) close their doors, in defiance of the residents...
In short, a great time spent at the Bois du Cornet inn, where the view of the mountain from the room is splendid!
To be tested without hesitation!

An excellent establishment

We have eaten at Bois Du Cornet several times now and we always make a point of taking guests there when we are staying in St Jean D'Aulps, which is a few miles away. (We walk a lot in the area) The food there is very fine indeed and of excellent value. The owners are outstandingly warm and friendly and we always enjoy spending time there. The views are outstanding from the restaurant, and every time we go there there is a different aspect. Whilst we have not stayed there it looks as though the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We could not recommend the establishment enough. We very much look forward to returning there soon!

Excellent hidden little gem

We stayed here for the night on our way to Avoriaz. Stunning hidden little gem. Beautiful spot with lovely views out over the mountains. Very comfortable Auberge, excellent local restaurant with varied menu and very good food. Excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable family room with extra pillows and comfy beds. Would highly recommend and return.
