We had a very pleasant stay
Great welcome, extra breakfast and beautiful surroundings.
The property is beautiful and very well maintained, very nice swimming pool.The spacious room and very comfortable bedding.I recommend cs guest rooms.

The house needs renovation
Maybe in guest rooms for a night or two but never again with family for a week!! We had rented the entire property for the whole family. Fans are not enough when it is 30 degrees or more. It was impossible to sleep. The kitchen was dirty and we had to wash everything by hand. The pool pump was broken but of course we were not told so to compensate, they discreetly put more chlorine. The blondes among us came out with green hair and the white jerseys were ruined. The landlady certainly reimbursed the hairdresser. The piscinitis that came in at 5:00 in the morning, the shots having popped, went back into the house to put them back. I found myself face to face in the dark with a stranger. Very unpleasant. In short, I do not recommend.

Je viens de prendre connaissance du commentaire que vous avez laissé concernant votre séjour dans ma maison d’hôtes que vous aviez louée, pour 1 semaine, dans sa totalité en juillet dernier.
Je regrette sincèrement que votre expérience n’ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes malgré les différentes compensations qui vous ont été accordées sur place ( remboursement du coiffeur, ristourne sur le prix de la location).
Cela étant dit, je tiens a rappeler que l’établissement bénéficie d’une excellente réputation globale avec une note moyenne de 9/10… ce qui reflète l’expérience de la grande majorité de nos hôtes.
Concernant vos remarques:
- la présence de ventilateurs correspond à un choix volontaire d’équipement écologique et fonctionnel.
- le ménage est réalisé par une équipe professionnelle avant chaque arrivée et aucun dysfonctionnement majeur ne nous avait été signalé à ce sujet.
- les désagréments liés à la piscine étaient liés à une prestation externe, immédiatement identifiés, et partiellement compensés.
Je prends note de votre insatisfaction, même si elle ne reflète pas les standards habituels de la maison.
En revanche, je vous demande de veiller à ce que vos propos restent proportionnés et factuels.
Je considère pour ma part le sujet clos après cette réponse et les compensations déjà accordées.

Good location
Nice for a couple of nights . Nice pool at perfect temperature. Description misleading , there is a private entrance but it goes to the same place as the main entrance. Rooms are adjoined to the main house and we felt like we were intruding into the hosts home . Too many rules - can’t use the pool at meal times , you left a light on ,can’t use sections of the garden at all because you can been seen from hosts terrace. Host very attentive and helpful . No air con so unable to sleep due to the temperature. Walking distance to St Paul and local town . Breakfast was fresh bread and home made cake every day , would be better with fresh fruit for a change sometimes . Cost effective .

The accommodation is not equiped with air conditionning but with fans in every room.
Having fans is more eco-friendly and very effective in hot weather.
We regret that this was not sufficient during your stay and we remain attentive to this kind of feedback !
House rules: we have indeed put in place a few simple guidelines particurlarly regarding the use of commun areas, schedules and lighting , in to insure place and comfort for all guests.
These are not meant to be excessive restrictions but rather commonsense principles for harmonious cohabitation…
Lastly, we confirm that the pool is accessible at all times, and only the lawns are not intended for prolonged lounging in order to preserv their condition.
We hope you will still keep a good memory of your stay.

Beautiful place, perfect welcome.
From Therese and Jean Claude C. Lorraine. Fourth stay in four years. The closed Saint Paul is a good place to live. Our guests are attentive and warm. We would be happy to recommend it to our friends. We plan to stay there again.

Very pleasant stay
Very pleasant stay, very welcome from the owners very attentive and very good advice for visits. Beautiful green and quiet place with a very nice pool. We are delighted with our 10 days spent at Clos St Paul.
