Disappointment

This hotel should not be rated in category 3*; only the food is quality ... too bad!! Indeed, the cleanliness of the rooms leaves something to be desired, the bedding is degraded (mattress sunk), the doors of the closet close badly. It was offered during our reservation , a Jacuzzi, a hammam and access to the pool: alas! the jacuzzi broke down , the hammam closed, the pool water at 15 °!!
This is an old hotel that needs a big renovation.
I would not recommend.

Good location

Friendly welcome, average room, in its original state: not enough electrical outlets, traces of patafix in the bathroom (Can't the posters be fixed in another way? It doesn't look clean). Breakfast a little expensive given the quality/price ratio. The condition of the breakfast room leaves something to be desired (ceiling, cobwebs, etc.).
PS: a stormy evening where. we couldn't go to dinner, the restaurant refused us a table. We had to leave in a torrent of rain to look for a place to eat.

Perfect Food

Attended this hotel for dinner with my wife on a sample dinner scheme.
Have to say the food was superb, the duck was cooked to perfection and the sauce was to die for.
The warm chocolate desert was simply delicious.
Chef Jason also took time to come out of the kitchen to speak with us and we felt welcome.
Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Awful. Avoid

Terrible experience Shower didn't work. Only one curtain in room! Food well well overpriced by a chef who thinks he is Marco Pierre White, arrogant. Substituted John Dory for Bass !!!!! Wife complained was told to see chef in kind then who was arrogant beyond belief and swore an awful lot. Food at best average but at 50 euro a head feel mugged Not offered ANY discount or any financial recompense or even any apology

It as could have been with pleasure, to show you how the shower works if we had been asked.
As for the food being over priced, our menus are priced by the amount we buy our fresh produce and the amount of work that goes into the dishes.
If eventually we have to replace a dish because it is sold out then we try to replace it with a product of the same standard which is why the john Dory was replaced by line caught Sea Bass, considered to be a noble fish and in the same price range.
The Chef patron met you in his kitchen to discuss your comments about the meal in English. He would like to thank you for comparing himTo Marco Pierre White, a Michelin starred chef and one of his idoles.
