A magnificent gem in the heart of Dinan.

The Hôtel d’Avaugour is a true jewel nestled in the heart of the historic center of Dinan. The building is superb, the decoration is elegant and well-kept, the rooms are comfortable and full of charm. The continental breakfast is excellent with high-quality local products.
A small gem is hidden behind the hotel: its magnificent garden! A true haven of peace, perfectly maintained, it offers an absolutely unexpected green space right in the city center. A timeless place, conducive to relaxation and wonder.
We will obviously remember the beauty of this place. But even more, we will remember the immense generosity of Hyacinthe, Orlane, and their entire team. They reminded us that hospitality is not just a profession: it is also a state of mind and a way of being in the world.
Thank you immensely for this meeting and for this magical interlude in a magnificent setting.

Nice discovery

Very nice discovery.
Magical and magnificent place overlooking the castle in the back garden.
Welcome by Hyacinthe and Régis, a pure joy.
Very good interaction, warm, professional, and attentive.
And thank you for everything, and a nod to the contorted hazel trees.

Disappointing

Lovely hotel,but no free parking, big disappointment was the fact that bar and garden closed at 9pm. Nowhere to sit or get a drink after this time. This should be stated on web site as we chose hotel to enjoy late evening with a drink in the beautiful garden. Staff not helpful really.

Magical place in the heart of Dinan.

Magical place where one feels good and decorated with taste, not to mention the authenticity of the place which is simply magnificent.
A quality service for the breakfast that we could not have in the sumptuous garden due to the rain, but I will return without hesitation.

Top experience, hotel with huge potential

A hotel that has a lot to offer. The façade looks fairly old, but the inside of the hotel has so much to offer. Cozy welcome, nice breakfast room, cozy sitting area, inside and out. Nice toilets at the reception.
The elevator is fairly tight, but there are also stairs. When we came to stay they were still painting and working. So it's going to look even better. We had two clean, beautiful, adjoining rooms with a connecting door. TV was provided, bathroom, one with only a bath with shower bar, and a toilet, the other room was with bath with shower bar, but also a separate shower and a separate toilet. Air conditioning was not (yet) there, but the fan brought enough ventilation.
Highly recommended is the outdoor terrace and fantastic garden attached to the hotel.
The maître told us that they still had grand plans to create another wellness and fitness in the underground floor. The hotel is going to be a winner.
