A good restaurant but a mediocre room

I arrived at 7:30 on the night of January. I was driving in step but I did not see the hotel whose facade was not lit. I had to retrace my steps on foot to distinguish something. My room no. 101 was on the 1st floor without elevator or help for luggage. The bedroom door creaked miserably. The mundane room was large but its space was misused. The desk table was also large and well lit. On the other hand, there was nothing to put the suitcase down and, as a bedside table, there was only a small tablet fixed to the wall on one side of the bed although this bed is provided for 2 people. The two outlets in the room were very badly placed. There was no power outlet near the desk table or near the headboard. The only garbage can was in the bathroom. A good point for the toilet completely separate from the bathroom. A good point also for WiFi connection. When I woke up in the morning at 7:30, I had the unpleasant surprise to find that the water remained cold in the bathroom, even if it was allowed to run for a very long time. I had to wash myself in cold water.
On the other hand, I was satisfied with the dinner at the restaurant and there was nothing missing from the breakfast buffet, both sweet and savoury and there was even Earl Grey tea. The rustic décor of the dining room was tasteful.

Both the hotel and the restaurant I can only recommend! The room and bathroom large and clean, the menu in the restaurant was prepared with regional ingredients, tasted very good and was perfectly adequate! The service was friendly and very accommodating. I'm sure we'll be back a third time!

I do not recommend this hotel, aging, the front door and Welcoming are to be reviewed...

One night stay with breakfast: room almost inaccessible because hallway leading to room cluttered with laundry bags and laundry rolls! Small, outdated room, old bathroom, etc....
Breakfast non-existent at 8:30, hardly any bread, no juice, really basic for 11 euros!
