Great stopover

Every year, on our way back from the Basque Country, we stop at this hotel to break up the drive. It is an excellent place for a stopover: the establishment is pleasant and the staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
I highly recommend this hotel for a stopover, even if I would recommend it less for a vacation stay.

Yuck

If this hotel is the number 2 on Tripadvisor in the region.... Then I'm afraid of the other hotels. It was rundown, old and dirty. I also felt unsafe.

This is a simple, roadside lodge style hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and spoke some English that supplemented our very basic French. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast (pay extra) was simple but adequate and included a toaster with bread, condiments, scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual pastries and yogurts.
There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are a number of places to eat within walking distance but don't expect any fine dining. We ate at the Asian 'all you can eat' buffet which was excellent and just 500m away.
It was easy to find, just off the main motorway and accepted our dogs for a very small supplement. We will use this hotel again if we are passing.

Ok hotel for a one night sleep on your way to somewhere better. Rooms are crampy and tired, but clean. You get what you pay for. We didn't take the breakfast so I can't comment on that. Free private parking space.
