Offering views of Mont-Blanc Massif, this 4-star hotel is located in the centre of Chamonix, 950 metres from the Aiguille du Midi cable car and a 5-minute walk from the train station. It offers a restaurant and 2 bars.

Superb experience!!
We spent 2 nights in this hotel ideally located right in the center of Chamonix with a view of the Aiguille du Midi and the Bossons glacier! The rooms are very well decorated and the staff very attentive, thanks to the whole team at the Alpina Eclectic Hotel for taking care of its guests! The very hearty and very varied breakfast is taken on the 7th floor with an incredible view of the Chamonix mountains! The spa is very pleasant and the massages are of high quality! In short, we will return with pleasure, everything was perfect!

Disappointment of a 4-star hotel
A hotel not up to the standard of a 4-star. Breakfast area dirty: sofas and cushions dirty. Parking in front of the hotel is always occupied and difficult to use for unloading/loading suitcases. Room cleanliness not satisfactory. The only positive aspect is the location and the helpful staff.

Flee if you want comfort.
I would like to share my recent experience at this hotel, which was rather mixed.
Negative points:
- Reception and atmosphere: The reception is not pleasant. Although the woman who assisted me was very kind and helpful, the general atmosphere reminds me more of a train station lobby than a warm reception area.
- Cleanliness and respect: The hotel seems overrun by tourists, which detracts from the cleanliness. There is little respect for common areas, with people walking around everywhere.
- Room: My room was dark, small, and without air conditioning. The heat was stifling, making the stay uncomfortable.
Positive points:
- Game room: The game room is a nice asset for children, offering an entertaining space.
- : The view of Mont Blanc is absolutely magnificent and is a real plus during your stay.
- Breakfast: The breakfast was varied and decent, although I doubt the jams are homemade.
In summary, this hotel has its qualities, but the negative aspects outweigh the positive ones. I do not recommend this establishment if you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Very poor value for money.
€400 a night for a room at over 30 °C, with the only response being a single fan fixed in a corner of the room, far from the bed, impossible to move or orient. At this price level, the comfort offered is simply unworthy.
Add to that a parking lot with only 23 spaces for a hotel with about a hundred rooms, frugality established as a management principle, and a so-called "superior" room for three people so cramped that it is impossible to open a suitcase once the sofa bed is unfolded.
The general impression is that of an establishment that hides behind an ecological narrative to justify cut-rate service and savings made on all aspects of the customer experience. We are told about local catering; that may be the case for some products, but the whole thing mostly gives the impression of an industrial offering. The pastries, bread, and several other products seem to come from frozen goods before simply being reheated on-site. As for the restaurant offered during the day, it is better to move on. I did, however, receive a commercial gesture following my dissatisfaction, which was appreciated but is not enough to make it a satisfactory experience.

Would I recommend the hotel? Well we may have been unlucky when we stayed but absolutely not. The room we stayed in was incredibly hot with no A/C but it did have a Dyson fan, that helped move hot air around.
In an attempt to cool the room down I opened the door to the balcony to let the cool air in only to be met by a strong smell of cannabis from one of the other balconies, so the door was shut.
We went out for the evening but on returning to the room the cannabis was still being smoked so the door remained shut and the room hot. Our room was ok, but had some stains on the walls as if something had been thrown and not cleaned
Laying in bed all you could hear were doors banging and sounds of people running along the corridors and banging from the rooms above. At about midnight there were raised voices that sounded like people arguing. The banging continued until the early hours of the morning and we couldn’t wait to check out.
The staff were not friendly on arrival and seemed uninterested, but they had just checked in a coach arrival. They were however very friendly the next morning when we checked out and allowed us to keep out car in the car park until 1pm. The car park is shown as 1m 70 cm and my car only just fitted. The car park is large with plenty of reserved parking, but you cannot access until after you have checked in, this was frustrating as there was a coach taking up the drop off area, so nowhere for us to park.
