A good address

Hotel well located in Cauterets, simple, but very clean, perfect welcome, staying possible in the evening perfect for a mountain stay.
Comfortable rooms, helpful and warm staff,.
A good address for a very decent Award.

Short stay

Small family hotel well located downtown
Friendly staff
Sufficient breakfast for whom like us, have only coffee and bread rolls jam
Unfortunately we had a room for 4 (we were 2)whose bathroom was tiny.
We had to take out the towel rack to get access to the sink.
No parking and difficulties finding a place outside despite what we were told
Good stay despite everything for 2 nights

Our 4-day visit to CAUTERETS went very well. Non-skiers, it is possible to take beautiful walks.

Very well located hotel. A stone's throw from the heart of the city. Easy access to the city's various car parks.
Heartwarming welcome. The manager, like his son and the staff, take great care of the travelers.
Nothing to report in terms of service (we stayed in half board).

I don’t really understand how this hotel is rated fabulous as there’s nothing fabulous about the hotel itself. The building and furniture inside are old and out of date, the rooms have no charm, the service is not good. Some examples are: they only gave us shampoo and soap the first day, the consecutive days we asked for a refill and they said that it was complimentary only on arrival, they didn’t empty the bin in the bathroom (it was full) and had to take it down myself, they don’t provide baby cot, the cafe they have is only open for about 3 hours a day split in morning and evening. They provide no kettle or small coffee machine in the room. In addition, the owners seem like they’re doing you a favour for allowing you to stay there. I’ve travelled a lot in my life and I’ve received better treatment and service in hostels so I’m not sure why it even has 3 stars.
The only good thing about it is the location. I wouldn’t go back.
