I stayed at the BnB in Cannes De La Boca. It was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. They use reusable bottles for shower gel and hand wash, so it’s eco-friendly. It’s a simple 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop that takes you directly into Cannes City Centre. The bus is accessible and affordable. You can get an affordable Uber either way to the Cannes city centre. Near the beach too.
The only downside is that I noticed during my stay that one day in particular my bed wasn’t made properly, the chambermaid simply threw my sheets back were they were. The bad didn’t look made. Also, I would have preferred to have an iron & iron board within the bedroom rather than asking reception. Overall, the stay was good and it suited my needs for a short, relatively comfortable stay.

Poor cleaning, there is no hairdryer, only one towel for two people, bathroom without window and non-working suction fan. Convenient location.

Deplorable
So what more to say, my wife and I stayed on the street while I booked and debited my account 2 days before. I had booked a night from 30/07/25 to 31/07/25 and on surprise arrival no booking. Step by step explanations:
-13h20 I arrive at the hotel and Nicole the manager (on the phone tells me to come back at 2pm) after waiting 5min in front of her. She didn’t look for anything to know, so I don’t specify any verification.
-Around 5pm we come back after eating and what a surprise, the interim (he tried to fix the problem) finds nothing in my name. Except a booking email in my name however no payment from Agoda booking platform. This is followed by several adventures including 2 calls with the famous Manager who does not even try to solve the problem and the worst she does not even want to talk to me on the phone. I suggest they take a room because there is the email and settle the dispute the next day. But Nicole good responsible that she is, does not take responsibility and refuses and asks me to re-pay a room when they have the email in my name and even a reservation of a room 2 adults but in another name (typing the reference transmitted by Agoda).
-18:30 my wife and I, in the public toilets of the hotel, we are preparing to go to a surprise birthday in Nice planned at 7:30 pm (we came from Lyon on purpose for this). -01:30 we return to the hotel and there a new person who is not even aware tells us that the problem is solved and that a room is taken but that no compensation or reimbursement is provided. I did not ask much, just 50% of the price because the room was going to be useful to us only for 5-6h so sleep. Basically it was to be used to prepare us for our evening... But even then, no possible arrangement. After talking for 1 hour my wife and I took to the road without sleeping until Lyon. Pay for another room in this hotel, or question especially when the card ceiling and reaches....In short the worst situation of my life, especially in the presence of my wife and especially when people are not aware of the situation and think themselves victims....

More than a hotel is a hostel
“ hotel “ disastrous in terms of cleaning rooms and outdoor areas, everything on the floor could be the night before, some paper or remains of a beach day, the next day they were still there as if nothing, cleaning the windows of the entrance doors have not been cleaned for months, and the trash bags of guests at the entrance of the hotel is a real shame.
I will continue through the dining room, which more than a hotel looked like school desks and not to mention the cutlery that seemed made with colorful cutlery, brought from both sides of your house.
Dismal variety at breakfast, and when something ran out they told you there was no more.
I know it's not a 5-star hotel but a minimum of cleanliness I think there should be, because no one likes to live among trash and totally opaque glass from the dirt that's accumulated for a long time.
I would never recommend it to anyone.

AVERAGE
Easy place to find, decent room, unfortunately the air conditioning did not work and incessant outside noise due to the mistral. Comfortable bedding, missing a second earpiece. Breakfast, the minimum minimum for the price.
