An oasis of tranquility

A lovely place located about a kilometer from the sea. Here, friendliness and kindness are always present. The accommodation I stayed in with my family was spacious, equipped with every comfort, including dishwasher and washing machine, and well cared for. Not to be missed is the breakfast: high quality products and homemade, at a cost of only 11.50 Euro. In addition, free parking is available.

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE

As soon as you arrive at the parking lot, you get the impression of being in an abandoned B&B... tools and various things thrown in every corner, the rooms are nice, but the sheets were not clean, and in one room (the Levante) there was a very bad smell. The property has very high potential; I hope the owners can take inspiration to improve.

Ci dispiace che il vostro soggiorno di una notte non vi abbia lasciato un ricordo migliore.
La federa è stata cambiata immediatamente: si trattava semplicemente di tracce di sapone mal risciacquato. Per quanto riguarda l'odore nella camera Levante, siamo stati i primi sorpresi poiché vi abbiamo accompagnato al vostro arrivo senza notare nulla.
Il parcheggio e gli esterni non riflettono ancora tutto il potenziale di questa casa di famiglia, che è anche quella della mia infanzia. Abbiamo scelto di investire in via prioritaria nel comfort e nella qualità delle nostre camere, il parcheggio rimane, a nostro avviso, un elemento secondario.
Come molti luoghi ricchi di storia, questa casa continua ad evolversi e a migliorare nel tempo. A volte è difficile percepire l'anima e il lavoro svolto nell'arco di una sola notte.
Vi ringraziamo comunque per il vostro ritorno e vi auguriamo un buon proseguimento.

Hidden potential

Structure just outside Calvi, with internal parking. You will be amazed at the entrance but rest assured, perfectly normal, it looks like a ruined B&B. The rooms, however, are something else, nothing exciting but comfortable and functional, nice fridge and excellent idea of electric shutters. Outside there is a small swimming pool, not too inviting but you take a bath there.
Unfortunately, except Mom, no one in the house speaks a language that is not French and since she is often not there, it is a problem.
Breakfast is optional, 11€ per person, considering average prices can be an alternative

To be avoided

The structure has good potential but seems abandoned there is much neglect and everything is very neglected. The assigned room was either dark with no air and narrow : the only strength was the bathroom . But the worst thing is that the garden is kept very badly even on the ground the pavement is mobile and you risk falling
Too bad.

Grazie per il tuo commento sulla nostra casa che a quanto pare non ti è piaciuto.
La stanza non è per niente buia e il vostro terrazzo privato è il più ampio e ombreggiato della struttura.
Non puoi paragonarti alla stanza che avevano i tuoi amici e che ti ha dato problemi.
Quest'anno abbiamo avuto un sacco di maltempo che ci ha ritardato nel finire la piscina ma non ci sono cadute da segnalare in questa stagione, ve lo assicuro.
Mi dispiace inoltre di non permettere al vostro cane, seduto su una sedia da giardino, di circolare nella zona piscina.

Holiday

An excellent chambre d’hôte. Made very welcome. Room small but comfortable, enough for 2 nights. Problem with WiFi and ac quickly and successfully resolved. 800 m to nearest sandy, clean beach.
Calvi was excellent and we spent Sunday evening in a restaurant A Stella. We had a lovely meal and loved the Corsican singing.
We ate at the chambre on Monday night and it was excellent.
