Great place with really top Service. Full of little attention and kindness. I highly recommend it.

Paid double what we planned!
We found the hotel via booking.com where the price was 110-120Euro per night for our stay. After asking if we can bring a small dog with us via email they asked us to send a deposit of 240Euro for 4 nights directly to their account and not to go via booking. When checking out today, we found the price was now 94Euro per person, so we had to pay almost double what we initially planned!! Going back to the tariffs they sent via email there were two rates for each room category and I had assumed wrongly that the higher price of 120 is the room price - same as in booking - for two but it turned out the second column of 94 was the price per person! What a sneaky scam, never stepping my foot there again! Shame! Find a much better spa hotel with mineral baths next door - it turns out that is actually cheaper!

the price you paid is the price that was communicated to you in the exchanged e-mails, which you can read again,
on our public rates which are also displayed in the room you have occupied,
you have chosen your room according to the rates sent, and on the quotation as on the invoice, the total amount of the stay is very detailed: you made the mistake of withholding the price in single occupancy while you were two in the room.
in the mail with the request of the deposit for confirmation, we requested 30% of the total amount of the stay which is quite suitable and noted in the general conditions of sale of the Hotel les Bains.
The bank transfer of the deposit was made to the bank account of the Hotel les Bains, which is normal: Why did you want to do it via booking?
I take this opportunity to ask you again, you did not reply to the previous email, if by mistake you would not have taken the key of your room?

Awful
We came to this hotel to practice french, kinda a program for student, fortunately, just for a week. All the people should know that that's really dangerous to have dinner or breakfast there, their cook has never heard about gloves, in addition there are no any sanitazers or desinfection things in the kitchen. Natalie, who owns the hotel is a terrible person, they don’t care about people they host at all. I saw lots of times the woman on the reception yelling at guests. I advice nobody to stay in this hotel. There are lots of other hotels in Brides-les-Bains, save your money and nerves, take care of your vacations.

Il est dommage que tu sois repartie dans le même état d’esprit que celui dans lequel tu es arrivée chez nous .
Nous t’avons accueillie comme il se doit, logée et nourrie convenablement mais malheureusement tu n’aimes pas travailler et tu n’acceptes aucun conseil .
Pour progresser dans une langue étrangère il faut s’ouvrir aux autres et poser son téléphone durant les heures de pratique sinon tu n’y parviendras pas.
Nous avons essayé de t’aider mais tu n’as pas été réceptive, il faut te remettre en question et accepter les conseils des personnes qui t’entourent.
Tu remarqueras que les autres personnes sont très satisfaits de l’hôtel, clients comme personnel , présents pour certains depuis plus de 20 ans

wonderful, we'll return
I found this hotel by chance and what a pleasant surprise it was. a wonderful location, but in a small quiet street. a small hotel but luxurious with everything you need. the rooms are clean and big enough, the staff always willing to help. the breakfast is nice.no doubt I'm recommending this hotel.

Nothing fancy but decent
Feb is high season in 3 Valleys and we booked late so Hotel Les Bains was one of the few places left with rooms at reasonable places. Overall, this works just fine but here are some quick truths to help you make a choice. The room we had showed it age. It was not the one you see in the photo. Popcorn stucco, dated tiles, no holder to hold the shower head up over the open bathtub, cracks in the porcelain etc. None of this was a big deal but it was not what we expected from looking through the website photos. The staff was nice and you have access to a ski storage room. The shuttle bus picks up just a few feet from hotel and drops of right in front of it in the afternoon.
