Serenity guaranteed

A magnificent campground, full of huge trees, very well-designed lodges, the restaurant is excellent for both cocktails and dishes, every detail is optimized, down to the pasta cocktail straws instead of cardboard or plastic, for example.
And the icing on the cake, a huge lake right at the entrance to the campground, you can walk out for hundreds of meters with nice warm, non-salty water, perfect for children and very pleasant for adults.
In the campground there are many small activities, temporary or otherwise, well-designed for everyone (animal farm, paddleboarding, biking, outdoor cinema...)
This campground is exceptional, I highly recommend it.

Unacceptable business practices: €1,800 kept improperly after downgraded rehousing

Avoid at all costs. Following the forest fires at the end of July near the Biscarrosse site, our initial 10-night stay in a Premium Cottage (paid €3,099.14) was canceled by the group and replaced with rehousing at the Slow Village in Pornic. This substitute stay lasted only 7 nights (meaning 3 nights fewer) in a lower category, billed at a total of €1,298.49. Despite a blatant difference of €1,800.65 in our favor, customer service and headquarters categorically refuse any refund of the difference, under the pretext of having "ensured the continuity of the stay." Keeping the amount for services not provided and nights not spent is scandalous and contrary to basic consumer respect. No customer consideration, intolerable financial practices. Stay away.

The essentials were missing!

The idea is nice but it lacks organization and cleanliness for the prices they have, it's the bare minimum! We paid for sheets and towels that arrived at their leisure the following day. But the most serious thing is that for the price per night, one cannot settle for approximate cleanliness (also validated during check-in). For almost $300 a night, either the cleaning fee to pay extra ($120) is mandatory or already included. Too bad because the idea is very nice.. obviously the f&b part is also lacking.. it doesn't surprise me because it is designed and experienced as a long stay.. but if you offer short stays, a solution must be proposed!!!

No slow.

Unfortunately, the terraces of the bungalows were loudly cleaned with leaf blowers when the guests departed... so if you actually want to have a cozy breakfast...
Those who booked a cabin near the lake can expect noise at night, as there is usually someone celebrating at the beach.
Anyone who wants to chat in the bar, which would actually be great for chilling, has to fight against the loud music.
The idea of a slow village is actually great and the facility is well done, but the implementation is severely lacking... one also does not quite understand why wedding celebrations take place on weekends and blast the whole area with sound...

Incredible environment poorly managed.

We stayed at this campsite with the expectation of resting and enjoying its facilities, but our experience was not satisfactory. During our stay an Enterprise event was held with numerous people, without being informed beforehand. This caused a lot of noise at night and restrictions on access to certain services, which were “reserved” only for event participants. As a result, we could not enjoy the rest or quiet surroundings we expected. Unfortunately, we consider that the organization and communication of the campsite could be significantly improved.
