A good place that deserves better than some reviews.

It's a pleasant surprise. This hotel is located in a quiet area, with a large secure parking lot. The rooms are very comfortable and air-conditioned. Very pleasant evening meal at a reasonable price. Quite a nice breakfast with good cakes, plenty of pastries… I don't understand the people who complain about the service because I found the staff efficient and pleasant. For some, maybe serfdom should be re-established to have everything right away. It's a joke, but the criticisms are sometimes beside the point.

Don't go there, run away! No A/C

There is so much to complain about regarding this hotel that I don't know where to start. The worst Ibis Styles experience I have had, and I have experienced quite a few! For your information, the hotel is located near large apartment blocks; you can serve as an attraction for their occupants.
The welcome:
Aside from the housekeepers and the head chef, if you are looking to receive a hello, well good luck....same thing, no smiles from the front desk to the service staff at the restaurant/breakfast, or even the manager (a person in her thirties with tattoos near the bottom of her calves) whom I only saw around 10 a.m., if that. Even the Ibis Styles sign upon arrival sets the atmosphere of the hotel: dirty, dark, and the price display is not working. A display case at the entrance presents the brand's goodies: it's a disgrace, dead insects are staying in there and some items have lost their colorful freshness. A water fountain is available, but puddles of water remain at its base. 80% of the time, when we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk; we had to wait a few minutes for someone to show their face. An overall descriptor for the staff (excluding housekeeping) = nonchalance.
Air conditioning:
Stop saying that you have air conditioning (especially when people call you to make sure, right Xavier...) because if for you having a minimum of 23 degrees in the room—yes, yes, I did say minimum—with a background noise worthy of factory blowers is acceptable, you've come to the right place! There were some nights when I opened the window to get the coolness not provided by the "AC."
Breakfast:
The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. The cold station, which shows signs of thermal damage (frozen parts) and dirt, where bottles of water, milk, and juice (filled by pouring from other containers, so not cleaned), vegetables, bowls of applesauce or yogurt or fruit, cold cuts, and cheese sit next to flies (which you will also find in the pastry corner; you are spoiled for choice...). Good luck figuring out what the different items are, because the little signs are just thrown on haphazardly. Knives and forks for serving are placed there in a chaotic manner. Using the citrus juicers is just disgusting; after being used, juice residue remains and drips on the floor appear without any staff intervention to clean them up. Not to mention the pulp and orange or grapefruit waste that has to be thrown into an unsuitable lidded trash can placed under the table, where one morning I saw someone drop the seed/zest collector into it, pick it back up from the trash, and try to find an employee (in vain) to clean this object. A crate or a large bowl placed on the table could do the trick, right? The buffet is restocked upon request; there is no anticipation, and they wait for a complaint before taking action. The same goes for the dishes/cutlery/napkins. And the highlight of the show: tables that have been vacated are littered with breakfast leftovers and piles of dishes, whether inside or, worse, outside, serving as offerings to birds and wasps. I won't even mention the state of the disgusting carpet on the floor, the tables that aren't cleaned, and when they are, it's with vinegar—certainly natural, but when it's sprayed right under your nose, it's really not pleasant. The jam, honey, and spread corner is sticky. In short, it is dirty and in disarray.
The exterior:
The pool is not very big but does the job, although I still have doubts about its cleanliness, with enough sun loungers around it. However, I would like to understand the concept of the shower located on the edge that you cannot use? It does not work! The garden furniture is scattered a bit everywhere on the lawn scorched by the heat; some armchairs/seats have holes in them. The restaurant awning is torn in places. The tables and chairs are made of metal; I am not sure they are cleaned daily, and it is not pleasant to hear the metallic noise of chair legs being moved—it is just horrible. Even the aromatic plants located in the planters are wilting.
Room:
The bedding is not super comfortable and the mattress is not breathable but makes you sweat. The decor is nice, however. Oh yes, be aware that housekeeping is done upon request (to be made the day before for the next day); I understand the ecological aspect, but the guest has to remember to ask, with no compensation if housekeeping is not done (unlike other Ibis Styles that offer a refreshment at the bar). When 3 people are staying in the room, it would be relevant to provide the number of towels, cups, and pillows accordingly. The soap dispenser for the sink is too high: an adult struggles to use it, so imagine a child. It would also be necessary to provide something to hang bath towels near the sink. The shower room, in any case, is still functional. Perhaps also provide a proper way to vent humidity.
I think I haven't forgotten anything and I am at the disposal of the Accor group if needed because it is really a very bad showcase for your brand; imagine if it were the first time for a guest to try the concept, they would not repeat the experience. Failing that, send one of your mystery shoppers... Extremely disappointed, therefore, and one understands, even if that does not justify everything, the low price charged.

It’s a cozy but worn out hotel. The room we got was okey. The air conditioner was loud though. And the sink was missing the drain lid, so you could se down the really dirty drain and drop jewelry. But I hope that was temporary.
The pool area was a bit of a disappointment for us adults. Broken lamps hanging in electric wires in the water. Dirty, shower not working, water tasted strange. Good that it was open until nine.
Restaurant in late evening was messy! Loud, stressed staff, quite dirty. But that could also be because they had a lot to do. Food took to long as well.
But it was unfortunately the same in the morning and worse.
Chaos! Very little to choose from and was not refilled fast enough. Fast checkout but slow checkin. Nice little “play area” by the reception.

A short break

Despite the very loud arguments of the housekeeping staff during the day, our 2-night stay was enhanced by the staff, with a special thank you to Sylvain and Florian at the restaurant in the evening. Thank you, gentlemen . Mylene and Sébastien from Bordeaux

Good value for money.

A very decent hotel for a modest price with a spacious room and a decent pool, although a bit outdated...
The service is average, which explains the score of 3, but the value for money is attractive.
