Spacious and impeccable apartment.

Reservation of an apartment within a senior residence, which makes it unique.
Spacious, clean room, impeccable bedding with a bathrobe and slippers provided.
Automatic shutters and a kitchenette available.
Access to the heated pool of the establishment.
Basic breakfast served at the table, but it is perfectly suitable (12€).
In short, a unique type of accommodation that turns out to be much cheaper than a hotel.

Ek Halifax

Stayed here with friends for four nights. Apartments are spacious with balcony. Beds very comfortable. Could do with drawers/hanging space in second bedroom. Swimming pool was lovely. 20 minutes walk into bayeux and very handy for all WWII beaches. Although this is a residential home for older people they let apartments out at very reasonable rates. We had ordered breakfast but Coco pops and bread and jam didn't make a continental breakfast for us. No problems with getting our bill reduced by breakfast amount and we went out. Enjoyable stay, would come back

Superb

Stayed here for 5 nights in September. Lovely modern apartment with all mod cons. Quiet location. Walkable to city centre in 20 mins or on a bus route. Helpful friendly staff. Liked the secure underground parking and lift access. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay. Probably best suited for adults.

Best for Couples

This is a senior citizens home that is currently renting out suites. It is good for couples or travelling with older children. Not recommended for people travelling with young children but excellent for other people. Room had two bedrooms, bathroom , kitchen and living room and was very spacious. Very quiet and a good sleep. Food in available across the road and kitchen facilities are supplied. Parking is supplied for free. Overall a good base for travelling in the Bayeux area.

Great value, great location.

We stayed here as a family of four with two teenagers and for the space and location nothing in or around Bayeux would have matched it for the price.
Our quadruple apartment had two bedrooms, a kitchen diner with lounge area, huge balcony, bathroom and separate WC. There is masses of storage space and just a nice feeling of having plenty of room. The WiFi worked perfectly and the location is great with a large LeClerc over the road for anything you may need.
We walked into Bayeux in around 15-20 mins. We were also able to walk to the British War Cemetary and the Battle of Normandy Museum which are just up the road.
The only tiny fault I can think of is that there are no wine glasses in the kitchen but we struggled on with normal glasses!
An unusual concept maybe but the security of the area at night, the peace and quiet and the friendly staff and residents make this a place we would surely return to should we re-visit Bayeux.
