Time has stopped.
It can be interpreted as “lived”, as “consumed” in the worst sense. I interpreted it as “vintage”, as “picturesque”: the spaces, the furnishings, the colors...
Of course, it is spartan, but certainly much more original than the cheap chains and still clean by French standard. Breakfast good-nis-si-ma!

Breakfast was ok with fresh fruit and bread. Dinner was really not good and not freshly made. Advise to eat at Nina’s pizza in the evening and the sporting bar at lunch time.

Very bad experience
When a la pavlova a pompous name certainly, but it is first of all a precise desert, what was served me was was to be thrown up and that was the case.

The room was quite basic - large enough for the 5 of us, with x2 double beds and a single bed comfortably fitting in the room. However it was lacking features that you may expect in hotels and especially for longer stays - eg) TV. The bathroom was essentially a small boxed in part of the room - it was very cramped and a taller person would need to crouch. There was no shower curtain, so in an enclosed space water went everywhere.
There is a restaurant attached to the property - we didn't eat here, but it looked pleasant and lively in the evenings.
For an overnight stay it was perfectly acceptable.
