To be redone

We stayed 2 days in this hotel from 25 to 27/02/25, we were three, very decent room and very clean, what about the owners... Really adorable, very smiling (even if the husband was a little cold on the phone) in visual nothing to see, and at the small care, we also very very very very well eaten, a real treat the soup garbure a discovery for us we feasted on your dishes, thank you for everything it is rare these days to find people so welcoming and with a smile do not change anything.

Once but not twice!!

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. Pleasant although on the roadside but no noise at night. Decent room with a nice terrace, tiny bathroom, nothing to put your things on except the cabinet under the sink. On arrival greeted by the skater style boss with a backwards cap on his head (why not but rather cold). The first evening we had dinner at the restaurant, it was ok, served by the son, a nice, very talkative guy :-D unlike his father. We saw the owner once or twice, kind and discreet. Breakfast served by the young man, very small cup of coffee, my husband asked for a larger one to dip the bread!! At the buffet there is a sign saying “1 time only at the buffet”… Never seen that!! The 2nd evening we were afraid of not being back in time for dinner so I called the hotel 3 times with no answer!! Arriving there at 9 p.m. the young man told us that everything was complete and we left for dinner in Argelès... Friday evening it's "Mussels and fries" for €16 in this restaurant; it's good but no other choice :/ As I never order mussels in a restaurant, I had to make do with it, the problem is that it could have been good if the mussels had been cooked just before to be served which was clearly not the case because they were dry and almost cold. In addition the mussels not trimmed, and lots of broken shells!! We who are from Charente Maritime..... At meals or outside, no cold drinks while we are in a heatwave!! We had ice cubes to compensate but it's not enough. The owner told us that a fridge had broken down.... I'm sorry but when we're a restaurant in the middle of summer, well we have to change it right away. No luck also for the telephone which was also broken, hence no answer when we called 3 times!! On the last day it was the boss (whom we hadn't seen since the first day) who served breakfast, I asked him for a large cup of coffee for my husband, and a large cup of half coffee and half milk for me; he told me “that’s a granny’s coffee”!!! I love to joke, but with this gentleman who we had barely seen, I found it inappropriate. I also point out that on the breakfast tables, 2 pods of sugar.... I think he is trying to save money on everything. And also that if the hotel "works" it is because it is located on the side of the road, at the restaurant there were no crowds.
The only thing that made the boss laugh was when when he was leaving my husband hooked him up with rugby. We will not return to this hotel. ,despite the attractive price, but conviviality is also very important especially when you are on vacation, and the least we can say is that we did not feel comfortable here. Too bad for the young man.

A horrible night

A couple of alcoholics kept me up all night. When discussing it in the morning at breakfast with the hoteliers, they knew but “could do nothing”. It must be said that alcoholics drank at the hotel bar. Between my night's cost of around 60 euros and the consumption of the poor people, they chose the most profitable solution. The hotelier was still wondering whether the drunkards should be allowed a third night. I have no doubt about the choice ultimately made. Find a quiet area and sleep in your car, you'll be better off. This is what I would have ended up doing if I hadn't paid at check-in.

Merci de votre commentaires que vous avez déjà formulé sur un autre site, donc je reviens vers vous encore une fois je m en excuse. Nous avons prévenue ces clients à plusieurs reprises et de plus le lendemain on ne leur a pas servi à boire. En aucun cas nous faisons la différence entre nos clients vous êtes aussi important même si vous ne consommez pas, nos clients sont tous égaux même si je l avoue nous n avons pas dormi non plus. On était vraiment embêter pour nos autres clients. Nous n y pouvons rien si les gens ne savent pas se tenir. Vous dites au autres personnes u ils seront mieux dans leur voiture mais je peux vous dire que des nuits comme ça, nous n en avons jamais eu. Je pense que vous vous trompez à notre sujet. Bonne continuation.

All great, the owners are very nice, room is spacious, clean, free parking, good WiFi.
No complain at all.
