Cheap but charming for one night's stay

We stayed here for one night to visit the underground river system.
The place is pretty basic and cheap but has its charm, most notably the interior of the rooms whose floors and ceilings are fully painted with depictions of the local scenery.
The host sorted out our river trip for the morning and provided an early, simple breakfast.
Sabang is really small so everything is walkable. The pier to depart for the river trip is 5 mins away, the part of the beach with restaurants is about 7 mins.
We're glad we stayed in Sabang to experience such an undeveloped area with its natural beach and recommend DabDab for one night.

This is a great place to stay on a budget. The owner stayed up late for us after we had a flight delay, we arrived at about 2230. The room is large, the bathroom works and they provide breakfast to your room at 0700. They also can arrange your underground river tour, they walk you straightaway to the boat.
Also, know going in that it is a small budget place in the jungle, they may or may not have any hot water.

Friendly, relaxing, inexpensive, artfully designed cottages

The whole family had a great time basing our visit to Sabang here. The breakfast is included with the rooms, and unknown to most is that the kitchen will fix lunch or dinner for you for a low charge if you buy and bring the ingredients. We had local market crab, fish, squid, vegetables, fruit, etc every day. The underground river, zip line, and Panaguman Resort are just a short distance away. The boar many reviews mentioned is unfortunately gone.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Helped me to book a van to Port Barton. I arrived late when it was dark, the place was hard to find. The locals advised me to go the other way than normally so I was a bit scared to walk alone in the forest by myself but I found the place. Room is really basic, no hot water. Great breakfast.

Wonderful place! Best place to stay in Sabang. It's a little tricky to find, so keep a strong eye on the gate opening on the left.
