Great location! Best hostel in Oslob

Highly recommend! Amazing location, in the centre of everything. They provide whale shark tours for a good price and make sure their guests get the first seats to swim with the sharks. The accommodation is beautiful and very clean.
Me and my friend stayed here- We had the best time here, the staff were incredibly friendly. It’s run by a lovely family, who invited us to join them for dinner one night. We could not thank them enough for making our stay so special. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
They have very cute dogs + cats, a pool table, good WiFi and they also assist with the waterfalls and canyoning tours.
Thank you again for having us, we will miss you all x

The best place to stay for whale sharks!

If you want to be on the very first boat to swim with the whale sharks, then stay here!
amazing experience. You are woken up around half3/4 in the morning to register then head out on the boat at 6am, finishing by 6:30. Great organisation. The hut we stayed in was comfy and had a fan which was fine. There isn't much to do around the area so I would recommend staying here for 1 night only.

The best placed Hostel for whale sharks!

This hostel is the best placed if you want to see the whale sharks. The whole family are so lovely and helpful and woke us up to make sure we were the first boats out. They stayed with us the whole way and the hostel felt like a home away from home! Thank you so much for having us.

Would recommend for whale sharks

This is the best pace to stay in Oslob if you want to see the whale sharks. Obviously these are just basic very small huts with no air conditioning, however they do have electricity and a fan, and you are guaranteed to be the first group out to see the whale sharks at 6am. Wifi worked great, there was a pool table, and staff were lovely. Only downside was that there was no running water in the evening so couldn’t shower/flush toilet etc.

Great Hideout

Warning: If you're badly in need of air-conditioning and wifi, this place is not for you. We went here last September and I surely love the place. Rooms are just like nipa-huts where they offer dormitory-style: 350 per person and an entire nip-hut house for 800 per night (max 3 pax). no limit with check-in and checkout time and the caretaker is the best! She also has a connection with the whale shark activity that's why we got the 1st spot for this activity. Rooms are very relaxing even they only offer fan rooms. The only thing is that they don't have service water. You need to pay for it 1Php for a small amount of ml. Overall this place is recommended as it is just 5 minutes away from the whale shark thing.
