The name itself says it all—Bluewater. Crystal-clear turquoise waters meet powdery white sand, creating one of the most breathtaking island escapes in the Philippines. Every sunrise and sunset felt like a painting, making it impossible not to slow down and simply appreciate the beauty around us.
What made our stay even more unforgettable was celebrating one of the most meaningful milestones in our lives—our renewal of vows. The resort arranged the most intimate and romantic setting overlooking the sea, creating a moment we will cherish forever. It couldn’t have been a more perfect place to reaffirm our love.

PREPARE TO BE SCAMMED
THE COMPLIMENTARY RESORT FERRY IS ABOUT TO SCAM YOU. It runs 8am-4pm. At 3:15 it takes passengers back to Sumilon, at 4pm it brings back the last complimentary hotel guests to shore.
AFTER 2PM THEY CHARGE AN EXTRA 4500 pesos... as if they aren't still running back to the resort on their regular schedule.
Someone ought to inform the owners of Bluewater. They pay for the complimentary ferry, then at the desk they charge you half the cost of a room just to get there.
Beautiful views. Friendly staff. Infinity of bugs crawling on every floor after sunset. 2 star.

The restaurant staff was great — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The rest of the service felt pretty laid‑back, and getting assistance outside the restaurant wasn’t easy. The place itself is quiet and feels private, which is nice, but the food overall is just average with nothing particularly special. We visited the herb garden and the staff there were friendly and knowledgeable, which was a good experience.
The biggest inconvenience is the layout. The check‑in counter is extremely far from the rooms. It’s manageable on arrival, but checking out is a hassle because you have to walk a long distance with your bags. They have a golf cart that could easily help guests get to the port, but it just sits in the garage instead of being used. Other than the few standout staff, the overall experience is just okay.
