Completely refurbished in 2019, including all guest rooms and public areas, Tanoa Plaza features rooms with lovely harbour or city views and is only 700 metres from Suva Harbour.

Great location with 5 star service

Location is safe and walkable to downtown cafes, coffee shops and ATM. A lens popped out of my eyeglasses while there. Front desk staff found a place nearby and called a taxi to get me there. Couldn’t walk it because with one lens I had no depth perception. They fixed it free of charge. Walked back and enjoyed the sites along the way. The onsite restaurant serves great lunch and dinner. Breakfast buffet while not gourmet was more than enough to satisfy. Staff gets 5 stars for being friendly and helpful.

Not so great but reasonable

Good location with breakfast included. Staff were very friendly and helpful
The room was reasonable but not very clean, although the room was swept (not vacuumed )everyday! The staff were great and friendly but I had an unpleasant experience on the 2nd day of my stay at the hotel. My black cardigan was stolen from my room. I did complain at the front desk but nothing was found. This should never have happened as this is a bad reputation to the hotel.
The bed was uncomfortable as 2 single beds were joined together to make it a king bed. It left a gap between the beds. Not acceptable for couples use!

Fully satisfied with the service and food.

Tanoa hotel and restaurant is an excellent place to spend away from home. The service is superb, excellent accommodation and delicious food. One of the best kept secrets in Fiji. I fully recommend it.

Excellent service and hospitality

Delicious food at the Dialogue Fiji event. All the food served especially the chicken pie!

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. It was spotlessly clean throughout, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The recent refurbishment has given the place a modern and fresh look, which we really liked.
The staff were a real highlight — incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with anything we needed. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them.
Overall, a great experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
