Clean and far way

It´s the cheapest in the area, very clean and nice staff specially Ashraf, the pictures here are not real. No pool, no resort type, no finished buildings arround (For real pictures check Booking.com). To locate it you need to ask for the Gas station at the end of Marsa Alam city south direction. You can walk but it´s about 20 min from the city centre. the breakfast included is nice.

Good place but very unpleasant owner

On booking it was written that there was wi-fi and breakfast included. When we called the hotel to book two rooms, they assured us that there was wi-fi. Once we arrived, we discovered that neither was the wi-fi working, nor the breakfast was included. Moreover, he made us pay for the coffees we ordered the next morning, and when we asked about the breakfast mentioned on booking the owner said there has never been breakfast, although we showed him the comments of other people mentioning it. Then, he changed the information provided on booking and changed the prices of the rooms, when he realized that he was wrong.
The owner has been very rude and offensive to us when we tryed to explain that his behaviour was not fair.
However, the rooms were in good conditions and clean.
last but not least, mr Ashraf, who works as receptionist, is a very kind person and he has been lovely to us, helping in organizing our trips all around Marsa Alam. He is very professional and a very pleasant person to talk to. We also suggest to go and have dinner in her wife's restaurant Um Mahmood (in Marsa Alam), a very good place to eat traditional food.

good place with a bad owner

the rooms are really nice and all but the owner is the most rude owner we have ever seen. It is very tough to communicate with him as he doesn't know English properly and in addition to it he is extremely rude. We went to scuba dive the next day very early morning and told the receptionist that we will take our breakfast post scuba to which he agreed. When we came back the receptionist had left. We tried to tell the owner what we discussed with the receptionist but he wasnt willing to listen and was only rude and arrogant.

استقبال جيد جدا من العاملين بالفندق وتعاون من الجميع وتساهل فى تلبية الطلبات مساحة الغرف كبيرة جدا النظافة جيدة
الفطار المقدم سيىء موقع الفندق مناسب وقريب من معظم المرافق مثل المطاعم والصيدليات وقريب من الشاطىء السعر مناسب مع امكانيات الفندق
الفندق مناسب للرحلات السريعة وافضل ما وجدنا فى هذا الفندق حسن الاستقبال والتعاون من العاملين بالفندق .

Heerlijk hotel, jammer van het eten

Het is een 5 sterren hotel, wordt ook zo verkocht door neckerman, maar op het eten gaat het echt sunk!
Alles is prima, van kamer, tot bedden, personeel, strand en zwembad voorzieningen noem maar op. Maar het wordt echt teniet gedaan door het eten.
Zelfs nu in het laagseizoen merk je dat ze niet ingesteld zijn op de hoeveelheid mensen. Het restaurant is ongeregeld, te weinig eten in de schalen en wat er is is weinig keus.
Er zijn hooguit 2 soorten vlees om uit te kiezen bij het diner, het voorgerecht is gemaakt van de overblijfselen van het ontbijt. En het is altijd rijst met hier en daar een aardappel die in no time is uitverkocht. Het ontbijt is ook wat summier. Wij zijn gek op english breakfast. We moeten het doen met een mixed omelet, want de worstjes zijn niet te eten en spek is er niet. Toast wordt gemaakt van een soort droge cake en brokkelt uit elkaar als je het door te toaster gooit. Ja, sorry. Wij houden van lekker eten. En ja wij zijn al vele malen in Egypte geweest en weten de beperkingen. Maar dit is echt het slechtste wat we in alle 20 jaren dat we in egypte kwamen hebben meegemaakt. Conclusie ondanks alle andere goede punten vonden wij het de 5 sterren niet waard.
