just checked in at plaza aswan hotel.and want to share my experience with those lovely polite people at this hotel . .my booking is from july 4rh untill july 6 . but i arrived at 2 am july the 4th . wael and abdullah were very proffessional and polite dealing with my early check in by explaining to me the situation that had happened with booking.com despite the frustration booking put me in by doing such a mistake . which is around 5 weeks earlier ihad sent a request to the hotel asking them to early check in that day because my flight arrives at 1am so ive sent the request to booking.com and booking.com sent me an approval of my request .eventually i realised that wasnt the hotel mistake but its a booking.com mistake who generated the approval without looking into the date . booking.come offered me to book another place with a full refund . and the gentelment at the front desk offered me an alternative with was satisfactory to me in this situation were it wasnt thier mistake niether mine . .all in all and in the middle of my stay today i assure you that you will be greeted and welcomed by the staff with a warm welcome and you will be guaranteed satisfation at this hotel . service 5/ 5 .rooms 5/5 . and its a repeat if i ever visited aswan again . thank you .

We were booked into Citymax as part of a tour group. The only two important things in a hotel really are the shower and the bed. The shower was terrible . The water pressure was down to a drip at some points and the temperature impossible to regulate. I felt as though it was such a waste of water in a place where it doesn’t rain.
The bed was clean and comfortable. We had a room that overlooked the interior balconies in the hotel so it wasn’t too noisy.
The lighting in the room was terrible, it was very hard to see.

Our stay was good. The air conditioner in the main bedroom of the suite stopped working on our last night. I tried to adjust the temperature but was unable to cool down the room. The driver that they have is great. Very knowledgeable about the area and other cities in Egypt. I highly recommend using the driver service they offer as it is more safe to use than taxi service.

Perfect hotel for a business trip
We stayed at Aswan Plaza Hotel for a business trip. It was convenient for this purpose, good service for the value. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to leave every day early, so we had a packed breakfast box, and had dinner at the hotel. The location is good, there are all kinds of shops and services around. Our rooms looked to the back street, so there was not much noise. THere was ongoing renovation or improvement on the top, so the swimming pools was closed.

Aswan Experience November 2025
Lots to see and do in Aswan.
Stayed 1 night 6th November 2025 at Citymax hotel.Booked via Booking.com
2nd time at this hotel .
Phenomenal place! I couldn't get over the size of the room and view of the Nile.
Staff were lovely.
We stayed 1 night before boarding The Sonesta Moon Goddess on 7th November 2025.
Super convenient as we very central.
Our family friend and professional Egyptian tour guide Adel Samir took us for evening food at a local restaurant, which was amazing.
We shared a walk around Aswan, the city which is very lively.
There is so much to explore in the evening in Aswan that you will be surprised by the option.
I can't think of a bad thing to say about the hotel or Aswan City.
Felt really safe & secure with security at the entrance, reception staff very helpful.
I didn’t get a chance to see the rooftop pool or gym due to a busy schedule.
However I have stayed at this hotel in 2024. (See pictures ).
I would be happy to stay at the hotel in the future as it is very central to everything.
Only downside is, Road traffic noise problems arose later at night, but this is the sounds of people going about their nightly activities.
Can’t be helped ..

We took a small motorized rickshaws (tuk-tuks/tricycles) to the top of the Nubian Village.

Highly recommend this hotel! Great all round stay!
