Great hotel
Nice stay at this lovely hotel. We were warmly welcomed and even got our room an hour earlier than expected.
We ate breakfast at the bar. The delicious fish and chips with homemade remoulade that got all the taste onions to sing. The waitress was cute and mega lun, the service was top!
The room was lovely with sofa and armchair, which we immediately dumped in with a cup of coffee from the coffee bar.
After a dinner out in town we ended up in the bar where we got the wildest good hat, served by a lovely bartender.
After a good night's sleep in the good beds, there was time for breakfast. It was sublime! 10 out of sf 10 stars. Lots of choices both of the cold, warm, healthy and "we have good today". GOOD style with iskaffen!
Unfortunately, we only booked 1 night, so it was time for check-out. Again we met smiles and kindness at the reception.
We will be back very soon!

Cigarettes Not a smoke-free hotel poor management
I specifically chose Comwell Middelfart because it is advertised as a smoke-free hotel. Unfortunately, guests in the room below mine smoked continuously, and the smoke entered my room. It was a warm, humid night, but I could not open the window because of the smoke.
It took eight phone calls before I reached reception. I was not offered another room, and the smoking continued, even the following morning.
Most disappointing, however, was the lack of follow-up from management. I submitted a written complaint at the time and was promised that the manager would contact me within 24 hours. This never happened.
If a hotel advertises itself as smoke-free, I believe guests should be able to rely on that — and when something goes wrong, expect the hotel to take responsibility and follow up.

Both rice and rose
We had a room on the 2nd floor in a house row further away from the reception. Room ok size with a lovely balcony. Beds slightly hard. Coffee/tea was available at reception, but it was far from the room, we would have preferred a kettle in the room. No ac, but it was possible to have the balcony door open. No safety box. Free wifi. Breakfast ample and tasty, both hot and cold. Stairs everywhere (no elevator) to get to the room and to get to breakfast. Great and good parking. The hotel is close to the motorway, perfect if you just want to have an overnight stay and then go on. Dirty on the floor in the public areas of the house in the stairs.

Good experience
We used the hotel as an accommodation.
Check in over midnight and it went smoothly. However only English-speaking receptionist.
Breakfast was top with great variety and fresh bread.
Check-out was easy and with friendly staff.

Choose another place!!
We had had a very nice stay at Comwell Kolding with the family and a small dog, so we chose Comwell again in Middelfart.
It is understandable that the hotel does not want pets,but then they may have to inform about this and not give us the worst they have.
Comwell should understand that we get there with pets,is this something that matters to us and that most of us want to pay a lot to get a nice stay with. This has been persisted by most hotels and practices from If we are not wanted, we choose another place.
We thought Comwell was quality, but it obviously only applies to certain rooms.
We could read that we could only get family rooms with pets, but there was nothing stated that these rooms were in great need of renovation and were not washed properly.
We stay a lot in hotels, I have minimum
120 hotels a day, and this was really bad. We would never have stayed in this place if it was not for that we had driven far for several days, then we would have turned and found another hotel.
We are a couple with a small dog. We were placed in a building far from the main building,and walked in a dirty corridor with spindle tissue to get to the room.
When we complained, we got an offer for the room next door which was just as bad. Something else we couldn't get when we had with a small dog!! All right, but then it's better you say we're unwanted!!
The bathroom was so bad that I didn't want to use the shower, it was full of cracks and something you really don't want to use.
The towels were worn out and small. The whole room was full of wear and stains. There were stains and cracks everywhere .
The windows were full of marks, nothing was washed properly. The walls had cracks, the ceiling had big spots and the door and terrace were full of spindle fabric.
This is something we would never have lived in under normal circumstances. And if this is a place where Comwell places families, I really hope they choose another hotel.
We will never return and recommend no one this hotel.
